The way this series will work is as follows. It will be a random series! Meaning the winner of the current weeks race will pick new rules to follow for the next week. This will leave a full week for everyone to put a car together for whatever track and regulations the winner picks. Races will last for about an hour . All applicable GTP OLR apply. All race events will begin on thursday 9:00pm est.

While the winner gets to choose the event, there will be a disadvantage for the winner as well. This is to give the winner a harder challenge and at the same time keep the same person from winning week after week. The disadvantage will accrue until that person loses.
- The previous week winner and current weeks rule setter will have to take a 2% weight penalty (i.e. If the winner of the last weeks race currnet car weighs 1000 kilos then he has to add 20 kilos to their car.)
- The ballasted weight may be moved, so this is not a total disadvantage.
- If the winner continues to win each race there ballast accrues an additional 2% of the cars total weight. ( not including previous ballasts)
- i.e. On a 1000kg car, 20kg turns to 40kg and so on. Meaning, a 2 week winning streak would impose a 4% wieght ballast of that weeks current car.

Please keep this thread clear of everything but rules and current points.

WEEK 1
This weeks rules are as follows.

- 3 cars to be chosen from the used car lot, all cars must be purchased at the same time, from the same lot.( get into each car after purchase to prove you bought them from the same lot)
- cars must not be more than 20,000 credits.
- credits not spent on the car may be used to purchase additional parts not in the sports tuning category. (for instance if you spend 15000 on you car that leaves you 5000 for things such as a turbo, race exhaust, light weight, engine tuning ect. round down by the 100 credit to determine how much you have left.(write it down if you cant remember how much you spent on a certain car).
- sports tune for power, (equipment must say sport to be allowed on the car, ecu is allowed as well.)
- race clutch and flywheel allowed
- stock tranys only
- diff tuning is allowed
- tires will be sports medium
- track is nurbemburghring gp/d(the shortest one)
- pick the car of the three that will suit you best for the race and time trial. car used to win the time trial point must be used in the race.
- 2 madatory pitstops
- race suspension is allowed to give some degree of individual tuning.

Week 2

Okay...so here it goes. There's a chance I might not be able to make it, but I'm planning on it.

Suzuka Circuit(Full) Spec-STi Race

-Race will be 45 minutes, so we will use average lap times to get an idea of lap amount.
-Impreza WRX STi Spec-C Type-RA '05-This car must be used by all drivers. It is available in the NCD.
-HP/Torque is limited to 375 receptively.-Neither HP or torque figures can exceed this value. You may use power upgrades in any fashion you would like but you have to comply to the final 375 or under numbers.
-Tires will be Sports Hard
-Transmission tuning is not allowed
-Differential with center differential adjustment is allowed
-Full racing suspension is allowed
-No weight reduction allowed, ballasting is permitted to factory weight. You cannot lighten your vehicle and ballast it back up.
-Pit stops is limited to 2 mandatory stops. - Your vehicle must go through the pit 2 times, and there is a 2 stop maximum.
-Race Modification is not allowed (RM in GT Auto), but aero/wing additions are if available.
-Chassis strengthening is allowed
-Race clutch, flywheel and carbon driveshaft is allowed

I apologize if not everyone is enthusiastic about a 1 make race, but I figured this would emphasize smart suspension and power tuning. Pay attention to torque/HP curves when doing power upgrades and how they relate to the stock transmission gearing. By using differential tuning, you also have to watch how your tires wear from corner exit. With a mandatory and limited 2 pit stops, tire conservation will be key. These are very easy cars to drive fast but very hard to preserve tires with.

And since we're using a Premium model car, have some fun and dress it up with some nice wheels and paint. ;)

Please let me know a general consensus on date of the race.

WEEK 3

INTERNATIONAL RACE

This weeks race will be an international race, meaning everyone will have cars from different countries. The way I have decided to figure out who gets what countries cars is by giving the people with the least points in the championship first pick and go up the list from there. There are 6 major countries and 7 of us so far, so the 7th pick will be tuners shop cars (please note there are not that many in that many cars in that range in tuners shop but, there are some good ones).

TRACK
-LAGUNA SECA

RULES

- everyone in a car from a different country
- if newcomers join, they may pick any car from anywhere they want as they have 0 points in the series
- no race cars, race mods, or concept cars allowed
- PP limit is 475
- PP may only be detuned by 20 ie. if a car is 450pp stock it would only be allowed to drop to 430pp. (the pp subtaction is after oil change, keep in mind cars in ucd gain pp drastically)
- sports hard tires
- stock trans/diff/weight/wing
- no chasis or engine refresh
- all other tuning allowed
- race will be 45 minutes long
- only 1 pit stop mandatory

Week 5 Results

Recap: Qualifying was close I ended up in pole position. As the race began it looked like it was going to be a tight race until turn one. Bumped from behind I ended up going wide into the sand trap which left an opening for Mcnasty and Ray to battle it out for first. Ray literally bumped and grinded his way to first leaving Mcnastys Evora crippled. Pushing hard I was abled to over take Rutgers1 and make a run for 2nd. On the last turn of lap one I bumped Mcnasty and destroyed his car and mine lucky I was abled to just catch the pit after the accident. Mcnasty was not so lucky. Up front Ray put about 45 sec on everyone within the first 5 laps. Eventually this would lead to victory. As Mcnasty and my self fought back from 2nd and 3rd we had a few accidents on our own and this would put us a lap down by the races end. I raced for 20 laps with a broken front right suspension in hopes Ray would crash but as my lap times slowed Mcnasty capitalized and passed me while I was in the pits with 4 to go... All and all it was a lot of fun
