Auto Trader has got its hands on the latest shots of the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 Range Rover Sport.

These new shots show the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 in white with a pair of blue stripes running along the roof and along the bottom side of the performance off-roader.

In July we were the first to reveal official details and pictures of the Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 – a joint venture between renowned Yorkshire-based bodywork specialist A Kahn Design and legendary performance outlet Cosworth.

Cosworth has tweaked the Range Rover Sport's 3.6-litre V8 diesel engine from 286bhp to 300bhp to give the 300 a 0-62mph time of 8 seconds and a top speed of 135mph.

A Kahn Design has taken care of the Range Rover’s cosmetics, fitting an aggressive bodykit, 22-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler and interior.

A Kahn Design’s founder Afzal Kahn said: “This is taking the luxury 4x4 market to the next stage.

“The UK has been out of the limelight from the world’s motoring industry for too long and we are aiming to put it back on the map with this innovative new creation.”

Besides the Cosworth Sport 300, Kahn has worked on cars such as the Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Continental and, most recently, the Lorinser-tuned Mercedes S-Class with celebrity owners including David Beckham and Kill Bill star Daryl Hannah.

In the past, motorsport icons Cosworth has worked with Mercedes and Ford where they built the legendary Sierra RS Cosworth and Escort RS Cosworth – a car described by Jeremy Clarkson as ‘on of my favourite all-time cars’.

We've roadtested the standard Range Rover Sport and found it to provide great on-road handling

The Kahn Cosworth Sport 300 is ready for delivery now and costs £69,995.

Firstly, why?, secondly, why?

“The UK has been out of the limelight from the world’s motoring industry for too long and we are aiming to put it back on the map with this innovative new creation.”
So, where is this innovative new creation? All I see is a Range Rover with a body kit, big wheels and a few strokes with blue paint.

No SUVs have become Taboo here...oil-rich countries like the UAE are all over 'em.

The innovative new creation is the LRX. The Cossie Range Rover is more akin to Frankenstein's "creation".

give it five minutes. Mr. Shelby will sue over copyright infringement for the stripes.

when all we had was front-drive slushboxes, trucks and SUV's were an occasional tuner choice, and still get some time in. there's a pair of tuner cultures for mini-trucks and full sizers, here. there's nothin sweeter than seeing a minitruck plopped on the ground.

So they have a 500 hp body kit on a 300 hp SUV? And said SUV is designed to be a a sporty, street oriented machine with no off-road ability whatsoever?

It looks kinda cool, but I still don't see the point.
