Some of the weirdest tuner projects are answers to unasked questions. In this respect, Startech, the sister operation to Brabus, has delivered.

The El Camino–fication process involves the removal of the rear portion of the Range’s roof, the installation of a new bulkhead (with tinted, heated glass) behind the back seats, new carbon-fiber trim on the C-pillar and bed rail, and a lined cargo area.

The pick up was built for display at the Shanghai auto show.

For reference, if it's just a tuned car the title should be [Make] [Model] of the original car and then the tuning details - so if this were a tuned Range Rover, it'd be "Range Rover Pickup by Startech 2015".

However, this seems to be - as you suggest in the text - more of a Brabus type affair. That will always necessitate a change of name, as the original manufacturers are commonly not happy about improved versions of the same car made with substantially new parts being sold as a new car but using the same name. In this case, Startech have simply called the car "Pickup", so the title should be "Startech Pickup 2015".

It still uses Range's 5 liter V8.

And as Famine said above, it is simply called "Startech Pickup."
No Range Rover in the title.

One in these promo pics are so-called "base" model; you can spec it with either SWB or LWB, and you can also go for a widebody kit, too.

According to Startech's sales brochure, this car can actually save you money. No really.

.....Apparently in some countries this car will be seen as a commercial vehicle thanks to its load bay, so you don't have to cough up import fees.

It suggests that Startech are a sister company of Brabus but looking at their website and also the cars they've produced, they're more a traditional tuner that a Brabus/RUF type manufacturer in their own right. For example, Startech's cars keep the original manufacturers badges which traditionally doesn't happen with Brabus. Not exactly essential but a telling sign. Their website suggests that they offer enhancements to Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover rather than just calling them their own models too.

I'd say your first suggestion for the name seems appropriate.
