Maybe this was an oversight, maybe not, but there is a white space under the Admin, Super Mod, Mod and Premium images:

Should they be changed to match the background?

They are very close, but the top ones are lighter (they match the color behind this post) versus that color.

I'm surprised that in the last 3 months since GTP9 was released no one else has brought it up.

Granted, it doesn't exactly jump out, grab you, turn you upside down and steal your lunch money.

Yes, they are different because I slightly darkened the grays for GTP 9.1 after people were complaining that it was "too bright" for them. This exposed my laziness when designing that part of the template, using the height of a non-transparent image to define the spacing of elements. It's bad practice, and this is a prime example of why that is. I'll put it on the to-do list and fix it when I can.
