just a quick question...

i did do a search for a question i have about the rarer cars and trolled through numerous threads but nothing is answering my question

am i right in thinking a car with a "1" is rocking horse poo
and a car with a "10" is common as muck?

or is it the other way round?

Cheers ;)

I presume you're referring to the MyGranTurismo.net rarity values?

They simply show how many people own a car, there aren't actually any rare cars in GT5. It's arguable that those figures show desirability as much as anything else.

i am trying to find the rarer japanesse cars, an Opera Per 350Z has just been purchased ;) and it has a rarity of "5" so im guessing not many people have this as it doesnt come around that often? i kinda know what is disirable and what cars i want, also a Silvia Q's S13 has a rarity value of "10" to me its rare coz its poo lol..

think that clears it up.

thank you

Yeah, 10 means not many people have them, 1 means quite a lot of people own them 👍 if you see a car with a 10 rating in the UCD, It's worth buying because it doesnt appear much on the 'UCD Cycle' hope this helps OP 👍

There are two truly rare cars in the game. This is based upon how hard it is to get them and therefor how likely it is that you have them.

The 370Z Tuned(GT Academy) can only be gotten through a ticket it can't be bought or won however in can be traded so duping has likely increased it numbers, but that it is an unexciting car not sot after except by collectors.

The X1 Prototype can only be won in a very difficult challenge and can not be traded. This is probably the most rare car overall.

Every other car can be bought at some point therefor you will always have a chance to get them.

I don't see how the X1 prototype is rare since everybody duped it in the V1.05 update.. it spread like wild fire, I won the 370z easily, same goes for the GT-R, it's weird to think how people are still trying to grab it in a hurry, I thought most people would have owned it by now

I agree, Since putting up my "wanted List" and putting the cars i own i.e the 370z Tuned car i have seen alot of requests for this car.
you might wanna add the GTR Academy Special which again is untradable, you could only get this car by entering the online time trial in seasonal events which was acouple of months back.
