Awesome, toler - thanks!!! It's really too bad Polyphony doesn't let you change the size of the wheels...they look like 17's from your picture there. Nevertheless, I'm really excited to see how the car drives in the game!

In fact you can. On some cars, when you install R tyres, the rim diameter increases 1 or 2 inches. I´ve seen this size increase in several cars, such as : Peugeot 206 RC, Honda S2000 (new model), Honda NSX Type S, S-Zero, Nissan 350Z, BMW Z4, etc. Also, some of the available wheels are bigger than others.

on the pic, the G35 is also sporting R1 tyres.

as for the performance on the nordschleife, i did a lap in 7'50.xxx with very little tuning (race exhaust, oil change, semi-race suspension and R1 tyres) and without pushing it too hard

I´ve not purchased the G35 yet, but I do have the 350Z Type ST (I believe it is called "Track" package in the US). I´ll buy one today, and try it on the Nürburgring.

With a bone stock BMW M5 (oil change and S2 tyres) I´ve managed a very clean lap in 7min 11sec. With a BMW M3 csl (also oil change and S2 tyres only) it was 7min 31sec. Very fast cars out of the box. The M5 is a bit scary on the bumpy sections of the ´ring (three or four turns before the mini karousel are the most challenging to take flat out)
