Hello there,

I guess I'm using this thread to showcase my work. Which will probably consist of replica liveries mostly and they'll probably ones from past GT games. I'll try to come up with some original stuff though as time goes on. With that said, I hope you like whatever I post here. So, I'll get on with showing my first finished livery below.

Made for the Focus Gr.B Rally Car that you win in one of the later events, a replica of the 1999 Ford Focus Rally Car that's been in the GT franchise between the 2nd and 6th Gran Turismo games. Though Gran Turismo 2 for some reason is the only entry with the blue livery. Which for now is the only one I'll show.

Random Fact: The livery on the 1999 Rally Car isn't a fictional livery made for GT, it's actually the paint scheme used on the 1999 Focus WRC Test Car and it indeed had 2 colors when shown.

A video with the test car for a referrence.

Notes:
- I did make a white version, I'll show it later after I tinker with it.
- I just want to tinker with the livery a bit because I want to mess with the decals some more. I want to find a better Valvoline logo to make a svg file out of then the one I used here (which was made by someone else). That and I want to add a decal that I didn't see on the decal listings. It's for a company called "GEL" or something, that's what it looked like to me on the actual rally car pictures.

Maybe this one is more to your liking? Here's a picture of where you can see the GEL" logo pretty decently. What it is tho, no idea :D

Oh thanks. I mean, I was going to get my own 90s Valvoline SVG eventually, but you saved me some time. The high quality image of that model however definately helps. I for some reason couldn't find a high res image of that myself.

I’ve got several Valvoline logos I made for a livery. Some with the script too. I’ll share them after work today.

Thank you very much!

Anyway, here's my 2nd custom livery. Once again, I might do some tweaking first before releasing it. A few small things.
It's a replica of the 1995 Toyota Supra RZ Racing Mod from Gran Turismo 1, which I believe was based on the 1995 Toyota Supra LM. It was kinda the first Denso Sard Supra to appear in the series, but oddly enough only appeared in that game. The 1997 JGTC Supra still makes a good fit for the livery.

Update, I actually finished the livery! and it feels just about right to me. I actually made my own GEL logo using a GEL BBC logo as a base, but I had to cut out the extra text and replace it with the apostrophes. I fixed the square on the side, moved the michellin logo and added a new Valvoline logo. Oh and I made a double transparent ford logo myself along with an outlined Focus mk1 logo.

These are more about custom 'styles' as what the game calls them rather than full-on liveries.

Replicas of the normal Lancer Evolution VI GSR in Lance Blue and a Scotia White Lancer Evo. V RS. I was thinking of Gran Turismo 2 of course.

More simple color replicas for my Lancer Evolutions.

Nayez Blue Pearl for the Lancer Evo. V GSR, referrence to Gran Turismo 3.

I had to show it with my Lance Blue Evo VI.

With my other Evo Vs.
Gran Turismo® 7_20220320224236.png

Dandelion Yellow Evo. VI GSR, I also made other colors for the Evo. VI, but I haven't taken pictures of those.

Gran Turismo® 7_20220320224306.png

Dandelion Yellow Evo. IV GSR, also from Gran Turismo 3. Though, I need to get a SVG decal for the Evolution IV sticker.
Gran Turismo® 7_20220320224338.png

I decided to add a Palma Red color, it already exists on the Evo V. This is just for if you can't get it in the UCD, because I only saw it in silver or yellow so far.
1648300201035.png

Also, Issel Blue Pearl from the Lancer Evo. IV. I thought it was wierd that the Evo V didn't have this color in real life when the previous and succeeding Evos did.
1648300178943.png

Toyota Celica GT-Four in Orange Metallic Mica, the special color option from Gran Turismo 3. I also added wheels that look like the ones on the 1998 model. I might try to replicate the rest of the 1998 Celica Colors this way.
Gran Turismo® 7_20220320224352.png

Also, my A70 Toyota Supra RM livery back, now complete with a body kit. Though I find it annoying that PD couldn't add the wing that was on the A70 RM. It comes in all of the colors from GT1 & 2.
1648300398901.png

I even added back the purple color option that was in the GT1 beta builds.
1648300384927.png

Remember the special colored Lancer Evo IVs from Gran Turismo 1? Well, here they are in GT7, minus the custom wheels as I wanted to have them with stock wheels here. I can post the same colors with custom wheels later though if you want.

My own attempt to recreate the Dodge Viper GTS Racing Modifications from Gran Turismo 1 & 2. I used different decals in some places from the originals as it was hard to tell what logos they were. What's great about recreating them here is that the actual color samples for Viper Blue and Red exist.

I made a Viper Black version, which is based on a texture mod I did for Gran Turismo 2.

The mod I'm referencing:

This is probably going to be a livery updated later, but it's a replica of the Suzuki Cappuccino Racing Modification from Gran Turismo 2.

Well, I finally completed it. The replica of the 1995 Toyota Supra RM from Gran Turismo 1, the livery looks good on the 1997 JGTC Supra.

Looks good 👍
But I'd scale down the Dunlop logo on the front bumper a bit, it looks really weird with the vent obscuring it ;)

Thanks. The Dunlop logo is that side for accuracy, that how big it was in GT1. But you're right, it would look better if it fit the panel, the logo originally was on a body without that ridge there.

Yeah if it comes to applying liveries to cars with different body parts and panels my approach to it is to make it look correct even if that means slightly adjusting size and placement of decals :D After all the goal is still to achieve a realistic looking livery :dopey:

One thing I've been neglecting to do for the past couple months since getting this game was reviving my liveries from GT Sport. Before this, I really only brought back my Mk3 Toyota Supra RM replicas. So, here's a couple more.

My Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R RM replica cars, now have the actual Nissan decals on their windshield and I'm happy to be able to remove the front license plate. I think there's something with the lighting on the display page, because it

A replica of the Honda Civic Type R RM from GT1, the beta RM from one of the trial editions. I made this replica back on GT Sport. Like above, the livery should be editable if you wish to change something. Once again no license plate, a new Honda banner, and I even can place a normal Civic grill for better accuracy. Though I only did it for the red one here, I got lazy with the others and left the Civic Type R grill on.

One of my goals with GT7 will be to actually remember bringing back all of my GT Sport liveries alongside creating new ones.

Bottom left of the decal area selection screen, below where you choose the general appearance of all decals (gloss, matte,...).

Alright, I decided to do this afterall despite it being done elsewhere, my own recreations of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV RMs from GT1 & 2. They're based on the Evo IV WRC, but with slightly different stripes. I included all of the special colored options from GT1, it was easy since I already had made my own color samples of the colors.

The wheels are meant to resemble the ones used in GT2 versus GT1 as I like those better, but I left the livery open to customize, I usually do that as I like people being able to fine tune it to how they like. So, you can probably even have this RM in other colors.

Speaking of other colors, I also give the white color alternate stripe colors based on the FTO RMs:

This is something I wanted to do at some point, replicate the Calsonic R32 GT-R, but give it different colors. I just thought it would be fun.

This color scheme is basically inspired by the Pennzoil Nismo GT-R. But it works pretty well on the R32.

My own replica of the 2000 Calsonic Skyline JGTC that's in GT3-6. I kinda want to make alternate colored versions of this like with my R32 Calsonic. :D

I recall making a Trust Racing tribute livery on FM7, which motivated me to do this. Try recreating one of the actual Trust Greddy Racing 962 liveries from real life.

My Aston Martin DB7 RM replica is back for GT7. I imported it from GT Sport, but tweaked the livery a bit. Now sporting a better front stripe and an Aston Martin logo on the windshield like on the actual RM. Once again, the DBR9 is used in place since we don't have the DB7 back at the moment.

This next livery I made is something I had done for a while, but didn't feel ready to release. After a few recent tweaks, I felt ready to release. I recreated the Ford GT LM Spec II's livery, but not gave it alternate color schemes.

The first was just changing the stripes to green as I just wanted green stripes. Link here!

Next, I was thinking of actually picking other colors, starting with Mark IV red. Thinking of the Mark IV GT40 and the GT production car colors. Link Here!

I'm probably going to do another small edit on this later on, because I forgot that the Mark IV Red livery was number 1 not 6. Doh!

Although, there is a red #6 Mark IV here, so it works out.

and I also thought of Gulf colors, but stuck the the normal stripes as well; the normal Gulf stripe has been probably done several times already. Although, I do want to make an altered version of this later as I think the shading is off.
