Sounds like you've had the same surgery as I did late last year. At least you get to spend a lot of time playing Playstation and watching movies.
 
Thanks a lot for the wellwishes guys, that was certainly a strange chapter of my life...

I was at the doctors office yesterday at 4pm and was at the hospital preparing for my operation by 7. Now that's service!

I have a Pilonidal Sinius, and it's huuuugely painful. I have another operation in a few weeks where they'll remove huge sections of the sinus, along with a 9x9cm area of my skin.

I have that many stitches all over that I daren't even look, let alone take pics!

Oh, and another amusing thing, I had an ID tag put onto both arms. Was this in case somewhere along the line my arms become seperated from me?

Good luck with the recovery Danny, and invest in a rubber ring to sit on for a few weeks.

The 2x ID bands is a surgery thing. It means that whichever way up you are, they can get to an ID band and check it's the correct patient all along the way.
 
So they don't go, "Has he always had breasts?".

Seriously, that sounds very painful Danny. I take it you won't be riding a bike this evening. Speed bumps ftl.

You are misled. It's not an op they do while face down...

(I'm not going into detail, but I have watched several 'intimate' ops...)
