Real-life specs on GT3 cars (WRX Gear ratios)

Recently I just put on the gear ratios that the NEW WRX STi Spec C (RA) onto my STi Ver. VI in GT3. My car sort of feels so realistic now. Then I put on the STi gear ratios. Those kinda sucked so I kept the previous ratios.

BTW, this is the STi 6 speed gear ratios that I'm talking about.
3.636 : 1st
2.375 : 2nd
1.761 : 3rd
1.346 : 4th
1.063 : 5th
0.842 : 6th
3.900 : Final Drive

You have to set the final to 3.900 first, then set the AutoSetup tp 30 so you can set each indevidual gear to the correct ratios.

I now have a STi Spec C gearbox on my Ver. VI!!!!

I want to have the original RX-7 Turbo II (Infini III) settings in my gearbox... but the RX-7 is 5-spd and the gearbox is 6-spd :(
 
If you set the gears closer i think it becomes a five speed. Not 100% sure on that though, but if you expand the gears on the cobra, it becomes six speed.
 
I dunno, it just happens. With the Auto Slider, yeh. I haven't really tried getting less gears though. It's onyl worked with the Cobra going from four to six.
 
Make sure you don't save just incase it doesn't work ;)

I slide the auto-slider back to 18 and still 6 gears!
I'll set the right ration's for the 5 gears and the final, and don't use the 6th gear!
Then I've the real ratio's!

i don't know if this works, but can't u just set the 6th gera ratio a very tiny bit smaller thant he 5th? it'll seem like the 5th gera then won't iT?
 
Set the final drive ratio to it's spec(real car ratio number). Then set the auto-setup to a certain number like 28, and set all the gears 1-5 to it's specs. If a gear doesn't go to it, reset the auto-setup to a higher number or lower number, but don't touch the final drive. Then you set each gear to the specs again to see if it'll work.

See if that works!

Try changing back to the Normal/stock transmission. The stock ratios for the Nissan S14 in the game are the same as the ratios in my own real Nissan S14. You'll have to see if the numbers are the same for the RX-7...

The ratios i got for my WRX are from searching online for them. Did you search for yours online too?

Tell me which car you bought in the game, and which ratios you're spcifically looking at. I'll try to get them to fit then get back to you. This means that the 6th gear will be very sort maybe. It'll be your overdrive gear...

nooOO!! I couldn't even perform it. The closest that you'll come to it is with factory transmission. Other than that, you stick with custom tranny for better acceleration.

Ow yes... almost forgot... the XJ200 Race Car has a full racing tranny... but it has only 5 gears!?! :boggled:
A bug or not?!?! :confused:
