Real Racing Suits Replicating?

I've been wondering for a while just how close a replica of real famous racing suits or helmets are there in the current range of gear? (Special suits not included)

The Masquerade 28 helmet kinda reminds me of the old Bennetton F1 car, so use that as a Schumacher helmet with a plain yellow suit.

BicolourII #3 reminds me of a Williams suit

Just wonder if anyone else has some suggestions for replica suits or helmets?

Back Vision #23 looks like Senna's helmet when he was driving for McLaren. Also, Bicolor I #1, Bicolor II #1 and Double Stripe #1 all look like his suit.

I think the suits and helmets in colour #11 look like Subaru's racing colours. So I normally just use something plain like the double strip suit.

I know most everyone here are car guys, but I work for Michael Jordan Motorsports AMA Superbike team. I have painted most of our riders helmets over the years, here is a random sampling of some of those helmets. I would love to get a few of them ingame. Or if they ever did a Tourist Trophy 2, or had a motorcycle add-on to GT5 or GT6. Anyways here ya go.

Why do they look like minature models?

Optical illusion I guess. Trust me those are the real deal. A lot of them are hard to get that detail at full scale, there is no way I could do them as minatures.

Nice pictures of helmets of various designs, the ones with red facial patterns(5th through 7th) were my favorite.
