real spring rates are to low to get them ingame (300 lbs./in. front, 200 lbs./in. rear), so I have chosen different spring rates available for the Eibach Racing Springs with a 100 lbs./in. difference (800 front, 700 rear).
This is just a base setup, changing ride height, damper setting, stabilizer, camber and toe is also possible for the real car. In the real car you can also change the ballance of the brake from inside the car.

I haven't seen any numbers for weight distribution, but I'll look into as well. :)

@Jose Frias - I don't know if this is the article where you found the 37:63 distribution, but now that I've seen this I'll go back and correct the tune.

http://www.autospies.com/news/The-Effect-of-Weight-Distribution-on-Turning-Moments-50856/

After reworking the car, I managed to get the weight distribution to the correct 37:63, but the car is now 20kg lighter.

Sry guys, haven't had much time the last days, the 458 GT3 is nearly finished, just working a bit on the dampers to get more stability in the corner.

Edit: 2 of 3 planed KOMO-TEC Lotuses are also finished, but I'll release them in a package.

I am waiting for that. I have made my own (and all other GT3 cars: http://gt3europe.com/cars.php) but coulnd't fnid any info about drivetrain and suspension-settings on race cars. So I just set the power and weight to the right numbers and then bought one of the race suspensions on GT6. Works just fine - especially now when we are able to customize the wings.

Is there any chance one of the tuners could post links after their tunes to show how they got together all the info? I started tuning all my cars with real world weight distribution awhile ago (some in GT6 are waay off) and even that has been a chore to find specs and some couldn't be found at all.

Nice work that's been done here.

Great Setup, but i cant reach your gear settings

Gear ratio's change on what power adders you have on the car before you add the full custom transmission. So to get the gears he has you either have to put the engine parts on first then select the transmission or vice versa.

Thank you
Its really a good replica, because its only a little faster than the M3 GT so it is very realistic

My own GT3 car tunes have rather different PP-levels: from 553 for the Lamborghini Gallardo (rear wheel drive) to 589 for the Aston Martin V12. Just the Chevrolet Camaro with 610 PP is on the same level as the most powerful GT3 cars already in Grant Turismo (SLS AMG: 610, Nissan GT-R: 609).

So it is very interesting to race against the crowd.

Did you create a Gallardo GT3 replica?

Did you create a Gallardo GT3 replica?

Yes. Of course it is a compromise because you cannot make it a 100% rear wheel drive car, but you can change the torque to 10:90 (borrowed that idea from Jose Frias).

According to this source http://gt3europe.com/cars.php?market=false&key=6 the real car has 1.238 kg and 393 kW / 535 hp - both can be achieved in GT6. I use the "ready made" race suspension on this one (soft or hard according to the track) and set the FC gearbox according to the top speed of the track - like you would do in a real race car.

I always put some race exhaust on my GT3 cars to make them sound better ;-) And with the Gallardo I think the custom wing C looks very much like the real one - no need to customize the wing with this car.
