In GT4 does anyone know if you will be able to rev your car and ****? In Project Gotham Racing 2 you can rev your car and it sounds awesome. I was just wondering if anyone knew?

you could rev your car in GT3.......I should believe that you'll be able to rev your car up in GT4...

But it didn't sound like a real engine in GT3... Blah, whatever.

I can rev the engine in all of the Gran Turismos. It's hard to win a race without revving the engine.

But it never sounds real, it's always high-pitched... It doesn't ever sound like cars I know sound.

that's high pitched cuz engine is getting restricted by the RPM limited

try pressing the throttle button VERY SOFTLY....then maybe it'll sound like the rev you looking for

yea dont forget the controller is pressure sensative, so obviously if you press it hard you get a louder high pitch sounds press it softer like codered_59 said and you'll get a lower possibly deeper sound...

What are you playing it through? 1-1/2" TV speakers aren't known for their earth-shaking fidelity in the lower frequency range.

What in Satan's butt plugs are you talking about?

Maximum signature length here is 6 lines (including blank lines, larger font counts double). Yours is WAY over - please reduce it.

Stupid question n not the place to ask it i know, but why are we only allowed 6 line sigs?

Because much longer and they get really obnoxious.

There's also the option of disabling them in your preferances, but do as you please.

Thanks for answering my question and not being a ****ing fag.

How did you know I'm a fag and ****? You have one heck of a gaydar and ****.

Welcome to GTP by the way, .

I may seem like the new noob to this forum, and I am. I don't want to start any **** but can't some people just answer the question instead of being complete assholes?

Better. We were all being assholes, that is evident. Wecome to GTPlanet. It's an awesome site, despite all of us assholes. Avoid writing like idiots speak and you'll encounter no more fags and **** 👍

And thanks for fixing your signature.

This is great site, but it's got rules and they're what make it a great site. The mods will do whatever they can to make sure people arn't being abusive, spamming, using unexeptably bad grammar etc, so don't take these things as a critisism.

Why can't people follow rules like:
* No hard core profanity. Hard core meaning use of the "F"
word and words commonly associated with body parts.
Violating this rule will be considered grounds for suspension
and/or permanent removal from the board.
I suggest you read the rules links in my signature, then take them to heart.
Honestly, what do you mean "rev your engine"? It's not that you are new, it's that it looks like a stupid question. It's like asking "can you spin out in GT4?" Revving your engine means giving the car gas, usually with the car out of gear. You can do that in all the GT series at the beginning of any race while you're waiting for the countdown. Does that answer your question?

I guess he's saying when can we press the "Rev" button while were flipping.

I just don't know how to explain what I'm trying to say.:irked:

Do you mean the engines don't sound right or what?

Don't sound right is what I'm trying to say. But I don't know how to compare it. I mean I know you can rev but it doesn't sound right.

i think he's looking for the VROOM VROOM sound.....

from the now VRRRRR....and then gradually getting higher to the ROOOOOOOOOOMMMM and stuff

while GT3 has the WE-WE-WE-WE-WE-WE-WE sound of the RPM limiter
