So your opinion is based purely on your imagination?? With hex modding, it is possible to alter vehicle weight. Unless you can personally interview each individual who builds their own version of a "realistic hybrid" and confirm that in fact, 0% of all hybrid creators alter weight distribution, your guess that "people don't do that when building these cars" is nothin more than your own conscience attempting to convince your ego that your position in this debate is the correct one.

Who care's? You can still make realistic hybrids even if you're swapping parts from other cars. I'll give you two examples of stuff I've built.

It really becomes petty these days here in the GT5 forum. Was actually an honest mistake regardless, my wording can be off.
 
Your basing your definition of realism on an assumed fact that hybriders don't account for weight distribution and weight change. You may be right but to determine the realism of a car as "not realistic" based on that notion is... I lack a polite term for it so i'll just say dumb. These people were smart enough to go in to a game save and change specific points in a bundle of gibberish and create the vehicles they desired. I don't think they would forget a key factor like weight distribution unless they intentionally ignored it.

That is definitely not what I meant nor intended, nor implied. Where are you getting this from? I said it wouldn't be truly realistic. Go ahead, find where I said in a post otherwise. If it existed.

Well if the engine is in the nose then the car would need its weight displacement adjusted to the front. But I don't think people do that when they create these cars.

^I'm leaving to because in all honesty it's now at moot point status until a way to create hybrids is leaked. When that new way is released I doubt anyone making "realistic" Hybrids will forget weight balance in there mods.
 
No they will end up with 400 HP samba buses in a gt500 chassis running in a 400pp race.

Infact it only is a samba bus in name and the pp is all wrong and it handles like a race car. But its realism yo!!?!!/

Wrong! Not everyone who makes hybrids will make GT500 Samba buses and other silly stuff like that. You blatant assumptions and generalization of the entire hybrid community makes you look like an arrogant and ignorant fool. It's as bad as claiming "everyone under the age of 16 uses X1's to ruin online lobbies." Yes, there are some who do that, but it is far from everyone.

Clearly you did not READ THE OP before making that useless post. This is NOT the place to share your opinion on hybrids. There are other threads for that discussion - this is not one of them!!

Whether its offline or online, like it or not, hybrids are here to stay. Learn to deal with it - and unless you have something constructive to add to the conversation, shut up!! No one cares about your uneducated opinion.
You anti-hybrid folk have already managed to ruin a couple of the good hybrid related threads with your inflammatory posts.

Go enjoy your hybrid-free online lobbies while you can. Give it another week or so, and hybrids will be back online.

But what is to stop someone from say... giving a road NSX the LM chassis, Engine, Suspension and then going into 'road' car only lobbies and mopping up with a car that is essentially a race car but described as a road car because its been hacked?

How can one deal with this please explain.

Just because some people 'might' not do this, doesn't justify the move to allow anyone to potentially do that, as it defiles the internal rules of the game and removes all trust from the game.

Oh and Btw I did add something constructive, such as a max power video because it seems that some people believe there is a low number of modified cars out there to copy. fact is there are thousands. Your response is very typical of someone who selfishly seeks to gain the upper hand on others and force them to cheat just to be equal with you. Like Armstrong on PEDs or any fighter busted for testosterone levels etc. Sure they look like a nearly normal person but underneath they can be stronger/faster/tougher because they have cheated the system.
 
I did adjust the weight balance in my hybrid, like I said, adjusted to 720kg, and obviously I put the weight in the right place as my new engine is heavier so when I'm practicing driving a real car in GT5 I want it to be as much like the real thing as possible.
