Really don't like coffee breaks!

Don't mind it being in the game, but to have career or game progression tied to it just screams arcade to me.

It isn't though is it, it's only tied to completion percentage which doesn't block anything off - it's just a number at the end of the day (and one that some take a bit too seriously imo).

Agreed with @TonyLomas too, I'd love some car soccer! :P I can get how people will just want to drive/race but for me there's definitely a place for doing sillier things with a realistic handling model - just look at what they did with the Sierra challenge.

I still can't gold the one with the Lotus Elise '11
It's not a coffee break but I can't gold the 3rd moon event either
Your probably going to be disappointed as you don't seem to win anything for beating those moon rover events. Imagine if you won and you get to keep the rover and use it on any track. Since I've seen some pictures of modders racing them on a track besides the moon, I wonder what it would look like.

Yeah....I know there's no price http://www.kudosprime.com/gt6/carlist.php?bonus=y
(I already got all of them), but to get 100% completed game I need to gold everything

The cones are damn annoying because if anything should have a racing line its them, looking at some ones video to find it meh. Camera should at the least do a flyover at the start to stop you having to do a recce lap to try & judge the best route.
I hope they are called coffee breaks because someone at PD used theirs to make them, they for sure could have used the time more productively working on the main content of the game.

Except for the economy runs, which I for some reason enjoyed a lot, I didn't find these cone challenges all that "fun". The last two in International A was a nightmare - still only got silvers on those. With such a low credit payouts and no prize cars I just lost all my "drive" to complete them. And that moon buggy thing?? One try, and I JUST knew this wasn't my, uh, cup of "coffee"!! :D

Shouldn't Coffee Break be a chance for us to run amok on the cones with the cars set up however we want? We should be able to knock over cones while doing donuts in a cloud of smoke and stupidity with any part of the car we choose. That would be a Coffee Break. And the ramp idea is superb.

After giving the ramp some more thought, we could jump through rings of fire and all that. Heck maybe an online demolition derby! But PD would have to add realistic crash effects too. :)

I'm not good at them although i can do them to a point but i hate them. As a measure i love drifting but i'm not very good at all at it, in fact i think i'm pretty crap at it., but i'd love to be good at it so i will keep trying!!!
I hate karts too, what a complete load of toss those are for me.

Recently I completed all the GT6 carrier events, but the coffee breaks.
All the events performed disabling driving aids (except the last 2 Redbull ones), all gold.
but I'm still at 95%, due to the coffee breaks.
I don't think they should matter in the carrier percent progress. Moreover I find them
boring.
What do you think?

If you haven't completed all events then you haven't completed all events.

If you haven't completed all events then you haven't completed all events.
:D
:)
So something as tedious as a "coffee break" is an event is it? I would class it as a non-event, more of a head up backside thinking what can i do to fill this game up as there isn't quite enough in it yet......event!

Don't think of 100% completion as completing a driving or racing career, think of it as simply completing all the events in a videogame and then it makes perfect sense.

I also dont like the coffe breaks, but you have to complete them if you want 100% completion..
So when i didnt know how to hit the cones or other things, i go to youtube and see how to get gold...
Viola done :)
