My dad was goin to buy a GTO VR4 (to replace his crappy old transit van ) but my stupid mum wouldent let him and threatened things ( ) it was black and real powerfull and my mum just said it was "impractical" Grrrrrrrrrrr

THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!

most of you probbably have ure own cars that r better but it must be better than our Mitsubishi Shogun thingy!!

Oh this is such a fact of life. My Mum always disapproved of Dad's car choices, but he just went ahead and did it anyway!

yeah.. he would buy it but my mum just gets realy moody for ages

My Mom used to drive this real ****ty renault megane and she didn't want a new car, we actually offered her cool cars!! I think it's sick she didn't want any...
So my dad just didn't care and ordered a Volvo c70 convertible (love that car!!) a few weeks before her birthday, hehe.

Also my dad wanted a leisure car for the weekends, something like a classic Porsche (carrera RS) But my Mom didn't let him buy one because it wasn't necessery and too high on insurance!! Aaaargh!!
What he did do was change-in his volvo s80 2.5D for a T6

Neither my dad or my mum were into cars, bike's was my dad's thing. So it was a real pisser for them when I hit 17 and started taking cars apart, tuning and respraying them in their garages and driveway. Didn't stop till I got my degree and left home at 21... hehe

yeh i feel sorry for you man, my mum use to be like that to, when me and my dad use to talk about getting sports cars my mum always use to say "well you cant do over 70mph anyway so whats the point when a family car can do 70 and still fit everyone in"
but now i have my own house and a BMW M roadster on the driveway so it turned out alright in the end.

LoL, where do you guys lives? Around here, if they can afford it, husbands are more than encouraged to get a sporty new car to replace the corny one they currently drive. Although unfortuneatly people around here tend to get a rebadged Honda, Nissan, or Toyota (rebadged=Acura, Infiniti, or Lexus), slap on some sparkle rims and fancy trim, put in a sound system that will be outlawed soon, and think its the 'phattest' ride in town. Bah. Id just get myself a Corvette and smoke 'em
