I suppose I'm showing my age but as soon as I heard her name mentioned in the same sentence as Justin Bieber I closed the video. So technically I can't comment on her but if she has the same amount of talent as JB, well it's best that I keep my opinion to myself.

Another singer/artist for people to make fun of to make them feel like their music taste is significantly better. The sad bit is that while they are making fun, she is banking in. She doesn't care because she know she didn't write it, some sponsored corporation wrote it and picked her for the image. Just the same as most other pop artist for the last blankity years. Besides, the target audience is obviously middle school/elementary so to most of us it does sound silly.

Umm, no. Justin Bieber was manufactured by a label. As far as I know someone of unknown standards watched a youtube video of him singing and decided he had some level of talent. Then forced-fame, over promotion, shove it down little kids throats because they are incapable of making their own decisions.

Rebecca Black's parents paid Ark Music Factory to manufacture her into... something.

Rebecca Black is not making a dime off of this. I'm sure the song is for sale on iTunes, I'm sure no one has paid for it.
The cost of the production will never be made back by sales.

The only promotion going on for "Friday" is the viral of how terrible it is.
