... to keep me busy until PSN is back up. Which means it has to have a good offline mode.

Thankyouplease.

Competing against my times in NFS: Hot Pursuit 3 will keep you playing this game offline for a long time.

*wink*

Portal 2.

But it might not be able to last a week depending on how much you play and how good you are. In fact, it's possible to complete in just a day if you're very good at it.

If you do complete it then you can try the co-op mode.

Blur is a good game for the cheap price.

I actually completed the single player career during the psn down time.

Dead Space? the first one is one of the best games Iv played, and is all offline

 It's not NFS's fault, it's EA.

You can't judge a book by its cover. I bet you didn't know HP3 was developed by Criterion Games... and the previous NFS games were done by a different developer team.

Anyway, Get Uncharted 1 or 2, Dirt 2, and Motorstorm

Dirt 2 is good fun, as well as Ferrari and Supercar Challenge (although you'll have to download the latter if you live in the US.) The Uncharted series is also great, and Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic game as well.

Dead Space 2 or Portal 2 are both excellent single player games.

If you enjoy horror and being scared, Dead Space 2 is the way to go, it's probably the only game on the market today that is truly terrifying.

Portal 2 is a cool game if you enjoy doing puzzles and having your brain worked a bit. The single player is stellar and it picks up where the last one left off.

It really is a toss up between the two because there so differeny. If I had to pick one, it would be Portal 2, but that's just me. It depends on your style.

Demon Souls. Easliy in my top 5 of PS3 games. It is very addicting and you can get a lot of playtime out of it.

Definitely Dirt 2 - no need for online with this - it's where I am right now, playing through on the harder levels and doing time-trials in all the different vehicles on all the tracks. Great fun and fine practice for D3

Borderlands though I think it will take you more than a week, lately I've been playing the first inFamous since I never finished it on he evil side and the second one is going to be out very soon.

Any Metal Gear Solid.

Or Uncharted.

Or God Of War.

Or just do the campaigns on COD.....

:irked:👍
