hey all - I haven't played GT5 in while and for someone reason now when I brake going into corners (using a gamepad), the backend comes loose and I wildly spinout. It isn't isolated to one car, it is all of them. It is happening at fast and moderate speeds.....now since I never had this issues before, I am wondering what it is? Was there an update or something that changed? I cannot figure it out....so please help as I have nearly given up! Could the controller config changed and I am actually hitting the e-brake?

E-brake would be my first guess.
2nd would be brake bias setting
3rd would be LSD deceleration values
And 4th: Don't brake while turning. ;)

Hope it helps. 👍

This reminds me of a story one of my friends told me about him learning Gran Turismo 4. He used the E-brake instead of the brakes accidentally for a long, long time not realizing he wasnt actually using the brakes. He said he learned to use It without spinning out.

Anyway check the controller sensitivity too, It may have some effect.
And like Denilson said it could be your technique.
