I've searched at Google and hear, but I'm only finding articles about people replacing their TiVo with a PS3. I don't have a capture card, but I have TiVo premiere. I'm wondering if anyone has ever hooked a PS3 into the TiVo to record the PS3 gameplay.

I see lots of GT5 videos that are people with a camera pointed at the TV. That is just silly. I imagine it is possible, I just figured I'd read how someone else did it, instead of re-invent the whole thing.

The only inputs that the TiVo Premier has is CableCARD, cable coax and antenna coax. The PS3 uses none of those. Theoretically, you could use an RF Modulator to convert the RCA from the PS3 to Coax into the TiVo. On paper it should work, but I make no guarantees that it actually will.

You could also find an old PS1 era RF plug that goes directly into back of the system.

Keep in mind that either of these solutions will still probably look even worse than pointing a camera at a TV would.

I used to use a Dazzle Video Creator Platinum (records via composite cable, so NO HD).
Now I'm using a Hauppauge HD PVR to record my gameplay in HD onto my laptop.
I edit the recorded vids with Sony Vegas 10.0
Then I upload them on youtube.
