Red Alert2: Yuri's Revenge VS StarCraft Broodwar

A bunch of my friends play StarCraft fairly frequently together at my house. We often have eight people for a full game. It's bad ass.

One of the couples that comes over plays Red Alert 2 ... almost every day. So I bought two copies of the C&C box set with RA2 and Yuri in it for $20 and I'm trying to make myself like it. I've played RA2 before, used to have a copy that I lost. But some how to me RA pales in comparison to SC.

Thoughts? Opinions? We want to have the four of us play RA2 together, but it just does not excite me.

God I loved Red Alert when I played it with my friend. It was his... and he moved.

The cool thing is, StarCraft's minimum require ments are like a 90mhz processor, and RA2 isn't much more than that. So basically any computer that hasn't died yet will run these games (:

I was never really drawn to Starcraft Broodwar,on the other hand,i really liked Command&Conquer Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge expansion.Probably because of the story and the awesome cutscenes.Eva and Tanya are hot.

It's been a long time for me since I've played SC.. Me and a couple of friends would spend weekends on beer, SC and junk food - I miss the old days

Never got into any of the RA games.. But I didn't need to - I had SC 👍

Did pick up a CD recently with SC and the Broodwar expansion - haven't installed it yet though..

Anyway,how does Starcraft Broodwar play,is it similar to C&C?I know the graphics are crappy,seen it on TV but how is the rest.The gameplay must be good since the game is very popular.Enlighten me.
