Red Bull cars worth getting?

After beating the red bull challenges and winning all the red bull cars i realized they are completely and utterly useless. In career mode the highest PP limit is 750. Way below the 964 of the red bull fan car. So basically i can't use the car for any real races besides online. I would suggest not buying them if you were thinking about it.
 
So you post a suggestion in the question section of the forum? :confused::dunce::banghead:

FYI there are other types of events you can use them in besides Online, so there are uses for those vehicles...
 
This whole thread is full of stupid. The Red Bull cars are meant for time trials in GT6, that and specialized competitions for Red Bull cars. This isn't a suggestion, he's giving his opinion on the question he posed in the title of the thread. Also, the cars are all different, some have fans and some don't, some have more HP than others.

X2014 Junior: Lower horsepower, open cockpit, no fan
X2014 Standard: Higher horsepower, no fan, closed top
X2014 Fan Car: Highest horsepower, closed cockpit, has a fan (obviously)

They are still worth winning and buying the ones you can't win, just not for you. What's the point of asking and answering your own question?
 
because I'm looking for other people opinions. Thats why i posted this in the question section because i want some answer. for you are they worth getting? yes why?
 
Because they are the best handling, fastest vehicles in the game, can be used to grind KM's easily if you want, and it's fun in Time Trials...
 
I bought the X2011 Prototype and the Formula Gran Turismo because i thought it would be F1 like races in super, but it wasn't, that was a little bit disappointing, and for grinding the Red Bull X Challenges you don't need to by them, since you are loaning cars for the events, maybe there will be F1 race dlc later ?

When I want to drive fantasy cars with hyper-speed and hyper-traction I bust out the N64 and fire up F-Zero. 👍

Grinding KM's is not the same as grinding Red Bull Challenge. I was referring to getting the Autobarmy trophy using a Red Bull car at Route X or whatever, not grinding the Red Bull Challenge in which you can't use your own X car
 
I like the career mode PP limits in practice, but it would be nice if you could 'unlock' this limitation after completing all the races.

I agree completely, that was my point. The car is a mental challenge, that's why I love it.
 
The best use I have for the X cars is to take photos. If you're into that sort of thing, then they're worth getting.
 
If like me you enjoy setting the best hot lap you can, then yes, they are worth it. The most fun I've had in GT6 was trying to do a sub-minute lap in my X2011. I haven't been able to do a decent nurburgring nordschleife lap without coming off yet, but when I do, it'll be the most satisfying thing ever.
 
My group will be running a series at some point in the Red Bull jnr. Definitely worth getting.

I like all of the cars for the thrill of driving them and as a test of myself. Worthwhile for the experience and you can pit yourself against them in Arcade mode too although when limited they can be used in Career mode if you really want to. Sure they take some getting used to and woe betide the person who tries to drive any other virtual or real car straight after the 2014 Standard (or faster).

They are also the best sounding cars in the game (for now).
 
If we all just bought cars with the sole intent of finishing the game we'd only have about 70 odd cars in our garages. Not the 2,3,400 or so people usually amass.
The idea of this game is buying & driving cars. BTW I just compared the 14' fan car against the 10' s.vettel around Mt panarama & the vettel is faster by nearly 4sec.👍
