Wasn't aware of the new 900 pp tace at Spa .
Needed to change car in order to win and try it 3 times .
I abord the first, change car and win the other two , no questions allowed about CRB🤣
Most profitable race i guess is the Honda at Laguna if you're push the little " bitch " to gain time .

I've mentioned before hom much i hate La Croissant track but this time i try it much more than i expected since the GTR of the race aren't crazy pushed .
So i try it few times with different cars mostly stock on SS tyres .
You don't need a 700pp car to win this and it's an opportunity to get a bit more familiar with my top list hateful track .
Not that i will ever enjoy a race here but still i can memorize some turns here cause we see that bloody track very often .

Unfortunately i couldn't use Avantime at village reverse to see the difference from the common layout so i pick my Express EVO to clear it and forget to mess with Croissant .

4 CRB collected and as a shy old fart I'll stay out of trouble from SPA , i also don't have a raincoat 😂

Gave the Alsace race a few more tries with different cars, stock R32 will win it so I assume anything around 520ish PP should be good. On hard you want to be running 2:17, there does seem to be one grid that's about 5 seconds faster than the others though. Also ran Spa again and finally got heavy rain on lap 6, before that was running 2:02-2:03 in the Audi, I have 34 kg of ballast in to match the Super GT cars but stock otherwise on RM. Same race as usual from the AI, even if they run fast laps they can't get to lap 5 on fuel so they're nothing to worry about. Was a lot of fun driving on a very wet track, quite funny as the first lap it rained hard every time I caught a car up it spun.

Done and dusted with the WTC900. Took the Toyota GR out. Was slowly working my way up to first but those AI up top are crazy fast. Even v. my Gr.1? Impossible in real life. Anyway, rain was on the radar and I had to go in anyway for fuel and tires at the end of lap 6. Went for IM's and about a few minutes after I pulled out in 7th, the heavens poured. AI cars either went in for tires or like the two stupid Nissans that were originally in 1st and second, they went in just for fuel and stayed out on their worn RH's. Go figure. Won the race by over 30 seconds. I think that's it for me for this one. lol

Looks like red flag conditions....

A sub 2-minute Group 2 car. All because of DRS.

Mid-rpm turbo was equipped.

EDIT:

Update:

2nd try, equipped with the High-RPM turbo. Faster overall times, but worse fuel consumption. Used Fuel Map 3 similar to the first run. But for this one, I had to short shift beginning Lap 4, until I pit in at Lap 5. For the out lap at Lap 6, short shifting resumes until Lap 7 in which I went all out from that point onwards.

DRS is used at the following areas:

- exit of La Source, deactivating it momentarily at Eau Rouge and resume usage at the Kemmel Straight.

- after Les Combes

- exit of Bruxelles

- after gliding through Pouhon

- Blanchimont until hard on the brakes approaching Bus Stop.

- Main straight.

For both runs, I used Medium tires, then swapped on fresh similar ones in the pit stop.

I started with doing the Sunday Cup Classic race at Monza with a Honda Civic (EG) and won quite easily. So now I plan to do the two races I haven't attempted yet - the Nissan GT-R Cup @ St. Croix and the newly-added WTC 900 @ Spa-Francorchamps. I respectively plan to use my trusty Nissan GT-R Nismo '17 that's received a lot of tuning - though it's got the stock engine and no widebody - and possibly a Lexus RC F GT500. I think I had typically used a Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM for other rounds of the WTC 900 but I thought I'd try something else, especially since I think the six GT500 cars (plus the Audi) have higher downforce than the GT1/LMGTP racers within Gr.2, making them better for the curves of Spa-Francorchamps as far as I can tell. (Whereas the GT1/LMGTP racers seem better than those seven at say, both layouts of Le Mans, due to the Mulsanne straight.)
