Red Bull Ring Question

Am I missing something here, I know someone has mentioned that in one of the recent seasonal events the time of day on the Red Bull Ring was set at 1300hrs and normally we are restricted to a fixed late afternoon time (cannot remember exactly what time at the moment as at work but think it's around 1530hrs). Anyway, I was wondering should the time be variable as when I have looked on the 'official' GT6 website it states for this track time and weather variable!!!! Just interested to know :)
 
Grip levels change with the time of day and the resulting ambient/track temperature, if time has been frozen at a particular point then it is to exclude this variable and any effect it may have on potential lap time.

DolHaus not sure if you follow my question, what I was trying to say was that when I go into say 'arcade' mode for instance to do some hot lapping etc I cannot set the time of day on this track even though it states on the website it has variable time of day. We are always restricted to one fixed time. Whereas on the other tracks with variable time I can set this how I wish?

Oh ok, my mistake.

When you arrive at the track and are in the menu, go to track settings and the options for changing the time/time progression/weather etc. are in there 👍

(on some tracks you can only alter the time between sunrise and sunset, on others you get the full 24hrs)

No problem :) don't think I worded it very well as spouting on about the Seasonal Event.

My point is that although on the official website it states variable time of day for the Red Bull Ring when I go into the menu options the sliders are greyed out so cannot adjust. Just puzzled as to why when this is a new track and the website says otherwise in the track list section?
 
Are you on the full length circuit or the short one? Sometimes only the full length track has the option whereas the shortened version does not.

I'm not near my ps3 at the moment so I can't check

It's on the full circuit, think the short track is the same though.
 
You can not adjust the time settings for the Red Bull Ring as of right now. I noticed in one of the seasonals as well the lighting was different. Hopefully PD will let us adjust the time for ourselves soon.
 
Yeah, I only raised because of the official website listing so maybe it is an oversight on PD's side, hopefully might get patched at some point as would love to race there at different times of day!
