My hands were sore from just trying to get bronze on GP/F. My thumbs were starting to callous. I'm a bit too rough on my controller. Getting Bronze on Monza was easy enough although I'm aiming for gold. It sucks so much that Suzuka is the last track though. I hate that venue so much and it's such a pain in the butt to get through. I've taken a break from the thing for the moment. Really impressed with the guys who get all golds so quickly. Wish I had those kinda skills =(

+1 I hate Suzuka aswell , two Days and 30 Hours of Trying at GP/F and I was still 1.6 off Bronze .

Jeez I suck at that Challenge :grumpy:

Not going to give up on it though 👍

YES, never give up! You can only get better :dopey:

I golded GP/F yesterday, here are my sector times if people are interested:

Lap 1:
1st Sector -> 19.6xx
2nd Sector -> 33.7xx
3rd Sector -> 48.4xx
Final -> 1:03.9xx

Lap 2:
1st Sector -> 19.5xx
2nd Sector -> 33.6xx
3rd Sector -> 48.7xx
Final -> 1:03.9xx

Just 0.058s under Gold but I don't mind at all :)

Interesting thing I found out:
2nd lap in GP/F is not really faster then 1st lap as you start behind finish line in pits and the straight is not so long. Actually braking and much higher speeds makes the 1st hairpin quite difficult to brake. Besides for some reason I always suck on 2nd lap with the X2010 :dunce:

On Friday I will try to golden Monza and Suzuka. Monza is pretty easy I guess as you can shortcut the chicanes easily. Suzuka will be painful, on my Bronze I only gut 1:08 1st lap and 1:06 2nd lap...

I finally bronzed all 3 tracks. The biggest thing I realized is that you dont have to follow the driving line or brake when it says. Theres lots of corners where you can just ease off the throttle and you can shave off little bits of time here and there. You just have to get the feel of the car and figure out your own braking points. I know its not the best advice but its just what I noticed and thought I would try to help

major respect to those who've completed this challenge.Just strated on it .Gonna take me some time thats for sure.On the rare occasions i manage to complete 2 laps i'm about 30 secs short of bronze.
That car (if you can really call it car its more like a rocket with wheels)is a beast.The handling is surprisingly good considering how fast the thing goes.

Can you give an example of what you mean by this? I can't even run a sub 20 second first split because I'm still afraid the car will just swing out from under my control at the Ring and at Monza I've tried everything and I can't get under 68 seconds.

I bronzed all tracks yesterdaya after getting to level 30 A-Spec finally...
Did all three in around 30mins... :D
I tried monza again and i realised you can cut the second chicane if you wish so it gave me gold instantly... :dopey:

I want to get at least silver in Suzuka and Nurburgring... Just a little practise in arcade with the X1 on those tracks and it should do...

I realised that only FGT, F2007 and F10 can actually prepare you for the ferocious speed of the X1...

If the real car would be made (with the engine and all the electronics) I think it would pull around 6G in the corners... so there's no way anyone could drive this thing without a G-suit... :nervous:

How can you cut that chicane at full speed?

The car's description says it can pull 8
