Red Bull X1 - Fan kicking up sand

I noticed this little neat touch while driving the Red Bull X1 today. I didn't expect that.

It's not actually kicking up sand. It's sucking it up from underneath and shooting it out the back. It has a fan underneath removing air so it "sticks" to the ground, like the Chapparel 2J.

Be better if it sprayed it all over the track, and that reduced the grip going through that corner for a lap or so until the sand had been 'swept' off the racing line...
