Earned it through B Spec grind. Now I will go back and try to win the others on the challenge.:)

Currently sitting at lvl 29.7 and unless I go a event ANOTHER time I won't make 30 and a chance to earn it ! Alright I could grind with bob for 35 but mya...rather let him grind with a X1.

I have not done a single event 2 times so this will be going to be a first in order to get the last 150.000xp needed ot reach 30. And no I don't find it cool to do events 2 times because racing against the AI is as fun as watching a turd decay overtime.

I think anyone that has a problem with X1 trading should get a life.

As long as X1's are for sale on Ebay for anywhere from $5-$30, I, and everybody, should NOT have a problem with duping these cars.

To be fair, although I did trade for it, I kinda wish I hadn't done. Although I've only drove it once, and don't intend to again until I unlock my own, I wish I had waited to try and unlock it myself from the challenge.

Personally I think it would have been much better if it was non tradeable. Then it would actually take skill to aquire one. But thats just my two cents.

I didn't realize the challenge became unplayable once you obtained an X1 through trading.

Proudly earned mine.

I wish people would stop duping the crap out of them to see people who can't even drive the thing.

Was just being sarcastic. I mean he can still get personal satisfaction from doing the challenge and unlocking the legit X1's. It's not like the challenge becomes greyed out like he is some sort of cheater.

Not to throw gas on a fire but to say you "earned" it from B-Spec is a stretch. Granted, you endured some extreme torture but come on...

I earned mine by getting all bronze, took the time to study the example video and took me 1h all in all to get bronze...will be going for gold once I finished expert, pro and endurance a-spec, also have a couple of special events left...

I dont get much time to do the actual events as I spend hours on the Nordschleife with my lightly modified M5 & Yellowbird, must have done close to 1,000 laps since I got the game on launch day...I will NEVER get bored of the Green Hell...cant wait to unlock the 24hr event:tup:

Earned mine from bronzing the Vettel challenge, and after some testing with the car on other tracks I might go back to get silver or even gold, it IS possible with DS3 but very stressful as errors are very likely to occur with DS3.

BTW I noticed that bronzing the Vettel challenge as soon as you hit level 30 will earn you enough XP to get you to level 31.5 , which means anyone that is less than level 31 A-Spec or level 35 B-Spec and has an X2010 is using a traded version (I think).

I traded for my first one, but then I got the one for reaching level 35 B spec. Still haven't done the challenge. Will try after I get to level 40 B spec.

i really got em traded i dont got much time to spend to get lvl 30 but i know some day i gonna have it by winning the challenge

I just got to the S.Vettel challenge, and I HATE it. I have golds in EVERYTHING else in the game, minus the few endurance races I have yet to reach, but I don't know about this one. I can't get used to the car at all. After about three hours, I'm still unable to get the bronze time.

It's making me feel like crap. I've always felt that I'm really good at Gran Turismo. I have all gold licenses and 100% completion in the other games, and I hate that what is keeping me from doing the same in this one is a car that doesn't even exist. 👎

I traded for mine but I'm starting to get good at it and maybe just maybe I could earn one when I unlock the level.

I would never trade cars, I think if I got a kickass car via a trade I wouldn't enjoy it as much as earning it myself, in fact, it would make me feel dirty!

I don't have the X1 yet, but I will get it one day :)

I have a DS3. Therefore I know my chances of getting a colored or prototype versions are slim. I have traded one X1 so far (Got it today), in orange and plan to trade another car to get a prototype then I'll be happy. I will not trade for a S.Vettel version as I want to earn this by getting bronze in all the challenges. I currently have 1 bronze on Monza and am 1 second slower on Nurburgring.

I am level 30, I think I deserve an X1 and I'm primarily trading cars in order to get an X1 which appeals to me most. (The White X1. :))

The X1 is to GT5 as the Stone of Jordan was to Diablo II. In almost every comparable way. While it's not as big a deal in GT5 that two thirds of the transactions on the marketplace forum are for X1s, the OP is right, it trivializes the value of the car.

Most of the the people trading for these things are just tryhard achievement whores who just want the best car in the game to pwn noobs with.

It's a good idea from PD to make it so difficult to earn as I assume (I've never driven one) it's an incredibly ridiculous car to drive cleanly. I just watched a 3:29.728 Nurburgring run in an X1 and I doubt I could ever run a car like that. The people trading for them will never have a competitive race in them because it takes such a high level of skill to drive it competently. It's just a joke car to 90% of the people out there. Why bother going to the effort to obtain one when you'll never get to experience a close race in one?

P.S. Did anyone ever actually legitimately find a SoJ in Diablo II?

I got a couple of them through trading, but I'm at level 35 B-spec so I've also "earned" one. By leaving my PS3 turned on every night while I'm sleeping.

Don't see what difference it makes - I much prefer driving more normal cars, and my B-spec guys can win anything using the Formula GT - of which I've legitimately purchased 2. The X2010 is a neat toy that makes me say "wow!" but not something I really use or need.

Ditto. I don't really enjoy driving the FGT, either - too darty, too nervous, especially with the DS3 controller.

I got an X2010 via trade, and now I'm using it to "earn" my own via B-spec grinding.

I'm Level 24 and i have 2 X2010s. I traded for them because:

a. I was sick of Noobs joining online games with them and doing nothing but ramming people off the road
b. I don't think that I'll ever unlock the Prototype version using a Dual Shock 3
c. I'm not yet level 30 and my B-Spec driver is useless without an X2010

Either way I'm going to do the challenge when i make it to level 30 and maybe unlock the S.Vettel one for bronzing it, so it doesn't really matter whether it's traded or not.

There's really no point to them, they just make everything on the game seem really slow and handle like trash.
