Today I turned on GT5 to see the news that GT will be giving away the X2010 if Vettel wins - and to be honest I was outraged!

I personally, am an owner of the X2010. I spent many hours earning my right to drive the car whenever and whereever I like, and to hear that GT intends to let anyone have it defeats the whole purpose of the car!

The Red Bull X2010 is the "Shiny Charizard" of the Cars world. That ultimate vehicle that turns everything into a cakewalk. A massive part of the entire experience is EARNING the car. It's illusiveness. The fact that starting out you have to stay on the track, and can only drive it on 3 of them. YES it really hard - but thats the idea! You get it near the end of your career, when everything else has been done.

My major frustration is that this car used to be something. It was special. I could be proud to say to all my friends " I won the X2010", and a few others would know that feeling. Once upon a time you could enter a Free Run lobby to show off your 2010, but soon this car will be dead to me.

Yes, I was hugely proud of my achievement - and Yes i know many wont ever get the X2010 - but just because it's hard doesnt mean those who can't do it should just be handed it! Then there is no point in the challenge!!!

At least those who can't win the challenge still get to drive the car, in a limited kind of way , at the right level! THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!


For me, being given the X2010 will ruin a large part of my GT5 experience, and will also remove the magic of getting the car fo so many others.

So i beg of you. PLEASE DONT DO IT! Find another prize to celebrate Vettel

It's the easiest one to get. You just need to get to B-spec level 35 or beat the bronze times which are really easy. Not a lot of hard work needed to get this one to be honest.
 
Level 35 B-Spec. Free X-2010. No skill required. Your rant is null and void.
 
Why are people complaing over other people using the full content of a game they paid for?
 
Lol, every freaking person already has 200 X2010's by now, mainly because of trading before the limit. The energy you spent making that long post should be use on more useful things.
 
How may different ways can you get the vettel x2010 in this game? You get free for reaching level 35 in B-spec and you can just have other people remote race your guys to do that. There is no such thing as rarity and prestige with cars in this game, especially not one that 90% of people already have. And it's not like they are giving away the X2010 protoype, a car that you have to earn.

There have been mutliple threads complaining about this already.

I have two of them and I did not even use the trading trick at all.

Not sure why I need a third? Maybe if it is a different paint job or something..

..
 
Trade before the limit. Getting level 40 (B-SPEC OR A-SPEC DOESN'T MATTER). Borrow glitch. B-Spec 35. B or A-Spec level 30 for challenge.

This only makes the prototype rare. Actually, it isn't. Borrow glitch still isn't patched.
 
Get over it, I saved up for my Miura on day 1, and feel I earned it with pride, which I did.. The online community of GT5 are dumbfounded anyway, you'll get X2010's plowing into you everywhere.
