Red Bulls In GT6, Should we sell them...?

Hey Guys, Bryan here or Matan as people call me onine.

I been having money issues in GT6 and I was wondering if I should sell my Red Bulls to save myself :mad:

The Red Bulls I have are:

Red Bull X1 2014 Fan Car: 1,800,000 cr.
Red Bull X1 2014 Standard: 900,000 cr.
Red Bull X1 2011 Proto: 1,800,000 cr.
Red Bull X1 2010: 1,800,000 cr.
Red Bull X1 2014 Junior: 60,000

All add up to 6,360,000 :eek: and so this is the question.

Should I sell them and if so, which one's go and which one's stay..?

Keep all of them and grind the X2014 Standard event. Trust me, arcade races with the Red Bulls can be insanely fun, especially on one of the more technical tracks as the AI usually have absolutely no clue how to drive them there and it can make for some hilarious replays. :)
 
You should keep one just in case. Sell the rest cause the first junior challenge at silverstone makes 55.82K a minute which means 20 mill would take only 5 hours 52 minutes. Which isn't bad considering it's 20 mill.
 
I would see the 2010 and 2011 proto. Cuz you bought them. And the x2014 you won. So i would keep those..
 
Not everyone doesn't want them in their lobbies, Lizard_Nightmare (Japanese) runs an X2014 room sometimes for Standard or Fan cars and LEYBA08 (USA) runs the X2014 Standard a lot of the time. There are also X2014 Junior rooms available frequently. So if you have to sell, go for the X2010 and X2011 as they're more rarely driven.
 
Lol, sorry to say but I've never seen anyone go bankrupt in an GT game. My hint is that you never sell any good car, and the red bulls are indeed good cars. Just do the red bull standard events to get easy fast money.
The kind of cars I would sell are the few ones that are expensive and not very good... the most obvious example is the Alfa romeo Giulia TZ2 carrozzata da zagato (costs 10 million)
 
Does those RB events really need own car?
Had some memories at you don't need own car to enter them.
Sold mine.
 
I sold the fan car pretty quickly, gave a nice lump of cash for a few drift cars.

Later sold (and still regret selling) the standard car for some emergency funds.

I won't sell the Jr, as it's, in my opinion, the most realistic and fun of all the Redbulls. Minimum aero on sports hards is an absolute hoot.
 
Don't sell them, I just put my Red Bulls in my stockyard since they never get used.

Care to justify that?

The RB fan cars are the most capable cars in GT6 (so in that context, the best). They have be best acceleration, cornering speed and braking available. Like them or not.

That said I'd sell them all except the X2014 version and the Jr version. As someone above said, there're are lobbies available racing the X2014, should you like that sort of thing. The Jr is definitely worth keeping because it's the closest thing in GT to the likes of a Radical or Palmer open-top track day car. And they're always fun to drive!
 
I sold all except the Junior (since there are a few decent Jr lobbies from time to time).

I bought a GT40 with the money. Much better car!
 
I just wanted to expand on my reasoning slightly.


I sold the fan car after many attempts at taming it.

Ridiculously capable, arguably the most extreme experience available in gt6, but ultimately I couldn't extract 100% of its potential.

The standard is amazing.

I get so much feedback, and I feel completely connected, but at the time, the 900,000 credits for selling it came in very useful. This used to get regular Nordschleife blasts, and is probably the most fun car take around there, when it comes to outright pace.


I kept the junior because you get naff all for selling it, plus, as I said before, it's the most realistic to drive, with a few alterations.

The Jr is, in my opinion, one of the best cars on the game for sharpening your race craft in regards to car control.

No assists (inc abs 0) with minimum aero and sports tyres gives a very convincing junior single seater (formula Ford etc) experience.

I loved the concept of the original X cars, but the 2014 variations are my favourite, as they give the 3 steps in performance. Perfect for introducing non GT players to the world of Redbull cars.
