I need some ideas on how I should set up my car. Every tune I tried doesn't work for me. Please give me some great setups.

Every tune is different to each other I might like a loose car u might like a tight car so you have to play with the tune til you like how the car drives & handle.

There's not much you can do to the X2010 that'll make it better, in my opinion.
I think more details are needed - why does it need tuning? Is it to do with top speed or grip or braking or something else?

Send me a psn fr to pichon617 do u have a mic for ps3

In my opinion tuning really isn't necessary for this car unless you are a skilled driver dedicated to making it as fast as possible around time trials. It is already so powerful and so unrealistic any minor changes (e.g.increasing camber by 1 degree) probably won't even be noticeable.

If you want to drive this thing faster my advice would be to just practice practice practice. The only settings worth changing would be the transmission settings, which should be set just above the maximum speed you can achieve down the longest stretch of the track

Thanks Siggers. Sorry Pichon617, been having some trouble getting into my Psn account. I'll contact you when I do. And yes I do have a mic

"It is already so powerful and so unrealistic"

It is not completely unrealistic. Everything on that "car" we have the resources to make. If F1 had no regs, this is what their cars would probably look like.

But it produces so much G-force it probably couldn't be driven to the times achieved in gt5, at least not for long consecutive periods of time anyway.

Thank you guys. I think what I did wrong was change all the settings and screwed everything up. I'll set everything back to default. Thanks for the advice.

not that it really matters, but the only thing you can really do with those for a drastic affect is adjust the downforce balance. I've only adjusted the suspension if I didn't like where the tires are building up the most heat on the track.

overall In my opinon adjusting these cars are somewhat simular to adjusting the Ferrari F2007

But then every racing driver would have to get extensive fighter pilot training just to withstand the G-forces :(

Lol! If that's what they want to do, let it. More fun for us. Still... Wonder what it would feel like having 8+ G's coursing through your body.

Actually, the key part of the car IS impossible to make. The engine specs required to make the car real and the type of engine Kaz and Adrian want in the car is unreal and nearly impossible. The engine they want to go in the X2010/X2011 is a 3.0L V6, rev limit of over 16k rpm's, 16k is alot most F1 cars are at around 13-14k rpm redlined iirc. add on top of that the engine needs to produce nearly 2 times as much power as a regular F1 car. Now that's just achieving the specs on a stand making the engine live in that engine bay is different because you have to make sure the oil stays where it supposed to, even with a dry sump system it can get where its not supposed, cooling same issue and it has to have some sort of airflow whether it's water cooled or Air cooled. The physics of the Body and downforce are possible and very real, the car itself is real, but the engine is not yet possible.

more like astronaut training. In fact I'm almost positive you have to be a cybernetic organism or better to survive. what makes me say that is I saw a thing while watching the previous 24 hours of Le Mans where a driver from one of the Audi R14's was describing what it was like to drive his car and all the physics with it, and he was saying it produces enough G force to where he had to hold his breath in every corner to prevent crushing his lungs and if your out shape at all you run a big risk on blowing out blood vessels.

in real life scenerio i th x2010 I picture my head exploding going around the first 180mph + corner. there would be carbon fiber and hamburger everywhere
