regarding the GT5 screenshots

The game will look the same but without the picture enhancements. Hard to believe its game at times.

I don't think it's been confirmed they are "real" but I would guess that the vast majority if not all of them are somehow available in the game somewhere. That might be photomode but somehow they are there.

A lot of the shots look super awesome becuase the engine PD are using does a great job with colors, saturation and what not (sort of what KY means by better looking than reality) and then they capture the perfect moment and angle just like a real photo shoot.

So in short, yes I believe what you see in the screen shots will be somehow attainable in the game and that doesn't include just in a FMV somewhere.

IIRC, when photomode was mentioned, they mentioned there should be more freedom to take images from races than the last one. Just hazarding a guess, but maybe the (logically) moved away from the 64-camera option and just have a free-roaming camera. That would open up the ability to capture every single shot we've seen so far.

Well... as a photomode fan... one can hope.

Those are the photomode bullshots, not what actual gameplay looks like. I love the pictures though!
