Relation Dynamic weather vs time advanced

Last night I've organized a race with dynamic weather and time of the day speed at 10 times. It was a race of 27laps at Spa. All the weather was a surprise except for 2 of 9 blocks you can set. One of those had the hardest rain R08.

This rain came in very fast. Within a few corners the complete track was blank of water. Is this because of the time accelerator which was at 10 times or is this just because of this rain type R08.

So is there a relation between the speed of the incoming rain and the accelerator of the time?

I've appreciated the same. On races with a time lapse multiplier weather radar is useless. Even zooming out to 150Km the rain comes at you in about 10 seconds... thats a hell of a wind speed. Not even the worst hurricanes achieve so radical wind speeds... Oh, and the circuit map says wind speed is 20-30kph...
Poor implementation and time lapse multiplier dependant...

Yes, and if we had a bit more finesse around custom races, or lobbies, then the enjoyable weather variation could really sing.

I've did a test yesterday now with time advanced on 1. Rain came in at almost the same speed. So there was no difference or a relation with the time advanced. It seems that they are operating seperatly from each other.

The custom weather is litteraly custom. If you choose Sunny , To heavy clouds.. The game will go from sunny to heavy clouds with no inbetween . The game has transitions YOU pick.
You guys just don't understand how it works , the system is not broken.
Pick clouds ~ Cloudy ~ Light rain ~ Heavy rain ~ Torential . Not Dry ~ torential , the game will just toss that at you because YOU picked it that way.

Yes, it's crazy. I've done races where as I was approaching the pits, the radar was completely full of solid rain, zoomed out to 93 miles, which is the radius, so you're seeing 186 miles of information. So I think right, I need full wets, go into the pits, and just 1-2 minutes later, it's completely clear and I would have been much better off staying out on slicks. That's a wind speed of over 7000 mph! Yet the cars are somehow still driving around the track, not being hurled into outer space. It completely defeats the purpose of having a radar and checking it to make the right decisions in real-time.
