I do realise how many threads there are like this, but i really do need help...

The situation is quite complicated, i met a girl back in march last year and when my ex-girlfriend dumped me a while ago i have fallen for her. She feels the same way about me and we both want things to go further....
However, her best friend has also fallen for me, and i am good friends with her. So my question is: do i go for it, hope for the best and that she doesnt get too hurt, or do i hold back and try and ignore the very very strong feelings i have?

Help!!!

Go for it if both of you want it.

You're showing great character by caring about your friend but she'll get over it, indeed. Or under you, depending on how it's working out with the other girl. Just be aware of the fact that the other girl might become sort of evil once you're together with the one you want to be together.

The other girl said she will get over it, and that she wants us to be happy....so i guess i should go for it

I don't know you pagey, I have never heard of you but i imagine you are a very handsome man :D

Go for the girl that you feel right :) If it is meant to be then it is meant to be :) It is not her right to get in the way :)

And by the way sam.....

GET IN THERE MY SAANNNNNN  :D

Did somebody say THREEWAY? Your living the dream.(Actually a nightmare for you.)

Just be honest. That way if is all goes to hell then you are still able to say that you were honest. You might lose a friend, but will keep a true friend by being up front.

Also, let us all know if it ends up in a girl sandwich with you as the meat filling! I'm too old and ugly to get my own so I am counting on you. ;)

I knew you would find your way here Ellis  I am leaning towards going for it, we spent new years together last night and it did feel right

And Milldrum, i doubt it will turn into a girl sandwhich  but yes honesty is the way

It is disrespectful for me to joke about it. Disrespectful to you and both girls. I apologize.

1. Be honest and open.
2. Be respectful.
3. Take your time.

Its fine milldrum, a bit of light-heartedness doesnt hurt

And cheers for the advise 👍

Go for the girl you like. If you don't go out with the girl you like, she'll be disappointed, and you won't go out with the other girl, so she'll be disappointed. Plus you won't be going out with the girl you like, so everyone loses.

Very good point, i hadnt thought of it that way

Tap them both and move on with your life. You're like, what? 12? Falling in "love" or meeting a girl at your age is like finding a penny. Sure its cool and super duper important when you're young, but as you get older, you'll realize its pretty much useless and if you don't pick one up, you'll probably find a whole pile of them down at the convience store sitting in a tray.

Honestly, I can't even remember the names of any of the girls I had a crush on or dated before I turned 18...and some afterwards, but thats a different story.

First of, looking for relationship advice on the internet is the worst place to ask. Talk to her, not some random folk :)

Define "we spent" pagey? :D and before anyone thinks in a randomn nosey sod I know him :D

And srv2 your a bit out there  what gave you the impressions he's 12

I'm 19 years old, 20 in a few months so relationships hold a little more importance.

Jagdrag the reason I did is clear by the first few responses, before SRV2 very kindly put forward his opinion. And I have spoken to her, at length, and she was in the same position as me, sitting on the fence. I was just curious as to what some people thought I should do.

Ellis put your dirty mind to rest  nothing that popped into your head happened.

Nice! We should seriously hang out some time, I like the way you think.

And OP is 19, almost 20?! Really? Were you kept in a basement all your life, unable to lay your eyes upon a female for fear of punishment from your overly religious parents?! You seem very immature with relationships if you're coming online to ask people advice on a topic like this.

I'm putting a +1 to ETID's idea though.

I will say again i only came on here as i was curious as to what people thought i should do, please read my earlier posts.

Ellis can you please lock this thread? If people are going to be judgemental then there is no point in it staying open

Edit: just realised premium people can only lock their own threads, ignore the last bit :D

If you want my advice I'd try for a threesome or at least get it going with both of them until it all ends in tears...or become a monk.

Also mods can close your threads in request as long as they agree it's appropriate.

I didnt take into account the smut that the less mature users feel obliged to post in threads like these, so yes this thread will be closed soon

Good thing I didn't suggest my third option then ;)

People were always going to have a laugh about it but you need to filter the jokes from the serious.

If your friend is important to you and you don't want to upset her then I think you already know what you should do in this situation.

You know when people are siding with Etid it is time to call this thread a no go

And pagey just inbox a moderator and tell them what is what and provide a link and they will sort it how they see fit :) Because in my opinion that guy is a nasty pasty :odd:
