So, I was watching the winter olympics, and I was reminded of the game SkiFree – I googled ski.exe and I found a download of the game. So, everyone get together, and play a 15 year old game!

Post your top scores for Slalom, Free Style, and Tree Slalom; and I’ll maintain a leaderboard.

I remember wasting hours on this when I was younger, and I can see it happening again! :)

So, where is the part where we go back to the Olympic Village and get drunk with Bode Miller?

I remember playing SkiFree at these loser twins' house. Windows 95 ftw.

Slalom: 34.46 sec.
Free Style: 284 pts.
Tree Slalom: 48.23 sec.
Wow, nice times! You must be taking some really tight lines in the slalom.

EDIT: Free Style: 589 points

Slalom: 31.59
Freestyle: 833
Tree slalom: 56.99

You should add another category: how far can you get down the hill before being mauled?

I’ve got over 1,000 points, but I can’t be bothered updating it.

Doesn't work on XP x64 :(

Haha.

You have the most up to date system, and you can't even play SkiFree

Not 100% sure if XP64 has this or not, but XP does. If you right click the icon for Ski Free (ski.exe), you can run it in Compatibility mode. It's one of the tabs on the top. Just select a 32bit based OS (Win. 95 and later) and you should be fine.

XP64 has that, but apparently SkiFree used some 16 bit Windows calls because those were all that were eliminated, the built in WoW emulator takes care of your average 32 bit app... oh well, thanks for the tip though 👍

I suppose I could install regular XP on Virtual PC but I can't be arsed to do all that just for SkiFree
