<-hehehe->

Seriously though,.. this is definately a day to think about how lucky we all are to have had people die for our right to live virtually free of opression.

A few days ago my school had a Rememberance Day ceremony and a R.C.M.P. Officer gave a very deep speech on how lucky we are to be living in the countries that we do.

I am a cold hearted biotch, I know.

Believe me, I will pay for it when I am in hell for what I did...

But I will be sitting right next to the french most likely, so they will get there revenge on me.

Lest we never forget.

lest we forget

perhaps that the phrase you were thinking of...

still though perhaps on remberance day we can remeber the men and women who died in the name of peace....forget old scores...

I cant believe I forgot about it :grumpy: My dad asked me yesterday night if i remembered it, and I felt like a real turnip.

:grumpy:

Edit: A person doesnt only have to remember the fallen on Rememberance Day. It is a symbollic day for sure, but just because it was missed by some doesnt mean they cant take a moment to think about history today or tomorrow or the next day.

Amen. I definitely take my freedom for granted. It's just something we're so used to that it's hard to understand just how lucky we really are.
