Remove the ten character rule, dude!

It's completely useless right now. I see dozens of posts that include just a short phrase and then a bunch of useless characters to bring the post up over ten characters. I think I've even added a couple useless words to a post to bring it over ten characters

It doesn't deter anyone from making a useless post, and more importantly, it is possible to make a useful nine character post.

Unless you're going to penalize those who intentionally step around the ten character rule, you may as well just get rid of it.
 
Must agree, people will do anything to bypass any limits, but I'd say keep it, there are still some people making better posts. Then some people add this to the end of there post.

I Mean I Dont Have Much TO Say So Most Of My Post Are 9 Characters Or Less.
Like When i See Something Funny In the Comedy Corner, i'll want To Put Down A Simple :lol:
but Now I Have To Explain Why its Funny Or Add A Stupid Random Sentence To Bring It To Ten Characters. Or Like In the Test Forum's "What Do You Think About The Avatar Of the User Above You." I Put Down "^car" Denoting That It Was A Car, And Had Nothing More To Say. But I Had To Complain About The Stupid Rule So My Post Would Come Up.

This Rule Is A Terrible Rule. It Must be Stopped At All Costs
 
You've got a good point, as there isn't really any way to enforce what it is intended to prevent. I will remove it now.
 
I still think that this will result in more spamming, I'm against it. :p The people who normally posted more than 10 characters properly once again will do "..meh..". End of post. 👎 :indiff:

If it does then it can always be re-instated. As they say, abuse it and lose it.
