Just wondering if it can be done?
Sometimes vehicle tuning is prohibited in the regs, tried using the setting sheets by using one which is fully stock but the wings and stuff are still attached to the car. Any help?

Don't think so. I've tried before but i think you have to switch in your settings sheets. Don't think that works either though.

I think you have to go back to GT Auto and re-purchase/re-install the standard aero kits, it's not something you can do while you're in a lounge/lobby.

If you're concerned with the added downforce you could always dial it down in the car setup. If it's the looks of it you have to uninstall it in the GT Auto section.

The best thing to do is leave these ridiculous aero parts alone. It's not like they make your car any prettier.

I think it looks better with areo parts, since this is a racing game the more 'racey' the cars look the better.

But I really do think they should have an option in the car settings to uninstall any areo parts, there is a tick box next to aero but cannot untick it, maybe that should be optional? need to get this fixed in the next update

That's my philosophy for the wings, atleast. Each time I feel like appying them to a car, I'm taken aback by how hideous they look to me.

Aero parts are useful, but people who tend to drive on RS tires won't need them as you have so much grip the extra PP you gain in downforce works against you as cars with no aero can have much more hp. On sport tires and lower this isn't much of an issue as those tires don't have such grip.

True PD needs to fix that stupid GT Auto, it doesn't make sense to have the tune shop separate from GT Auto, and remove all permanent engine and weight upgrades. Then we would be able to change them via the spec sheet.

+1

and they could also add oil change in the settings section. that way you can race for a while and do a quick oil change without leaving the lounge and going through endless loading screens etc...

I've wasted a LOT of time waiting for menus to load just for oil change. plus it's the common thing to hear in an oval track room " ahh crap...I'll be back, have to go change my oil"
