Removing Friends

Is there a way that I can remove friends in GT6, so that they don't appear? Somehow some names got added to my friends list on the ps3, and now they show up in the game, even though I deleted them via the ps3 friends list. I just want friends that I know on my list, and not some random names that I have no clue who they are.

Thanks for any info regards this, slightly irritating matter.

If you've deleted a PSN ID from the PS3 friends it will eventually disappear from your GT6 friends. Might take a day or two or three for it all to synch up however.

As I recall however, the only place friends actually appear in GT6 is in the online lobby list, at the moment anyway.
 
Are you seeing them in leaderboards or when searching by friends only? If it's on a friends only search, it goes by friends being in a lobby, not just the host.
 
Well they appear in the friends leaderboards, and on track with those stupid ass ghosts line. Id really only wanna keep the list to a minimum of friends that I actually know. My friends list on the ps3 is fine, as it only has the ones I want. But inside GT6, the ones I don't want still appears. Kinda bugs me, so is there a way I can get rid of friends via GT6?
