I'd actually like to do a whole series based on custom courses as I have quite a few of them. Just not sure what kind of series though.

I would too, but it's a hard balance to make sure everyone has enough access to the track for practice. Since we can only share one at a time I'd have to post a new one every week for drivers to download and they'd only have a couple days to practice it. But, I kinda like that idea too because it puts everyone on closer ground. Some of us have been running these same tracks for years and years but some haven't so there can be an automatic advantage to some drivers with years of experience. But on custom tracks nobody's raced them before so it's a matter of who can learn the track quickest which is a great test of skill.

You could arrange with league members to have them share tracks so they can all be downloaded at once. Example, if there are 6 races in the season, find 5 volunteers (plus the league director) and have them each download one of your custom tracks and then share that track. In the OP you can have a list of who is sharing what track and everybody could grab the in the first week. 👍

The only problem with this is that the track creator would have an advantage. I know when I create tracks I spend a lot of time running laps, making changes, running more laps just to make sure it's as good as it can be.

Agreed. The person who created the track will always have an advantage. That's why I mentioned the idea of having multiple people host the tracks so they can be downloaded all at once. If everyone can get all the tracks downloaded before the season starts then they can have plenty of time to practice and get on the same level as the track designer.

Problem is there will always be a few people that don't get the tracks downloaded or come in later in the season and wont have had time to practice. I tried giving people 3 tracks to vote on at the beginning of this Capp season but by Week 3 only about 4 people had voted so that failed. Just hard to make it work unfortunately.

I won't be free tomorrow till around 6:30 pm EDT. Trying to finish a wooden play set / play house for the kids. It's quite the project.


I got my other Black Racer sent to StigsHero. We will be using both different models but same color and number. Only difference is a few stickers/decals relative to the Clio name.

That's actually a good way to tell people apart. The Lutecia cars do not have the "Clio Trophy" banner across the windshield. 👍

I have a Silver #3, Dark Yellow #9, and the Pink one. I'll get you signed up now. EDIT: I also have a White #66. So you can either be your own team, C-ZETA's teammate, or akmuq's teammate. :)

Also, I just changed the title to reflect the practice room I will have open tomorrow morning before I head off to the Diamondbacks game. When I get back from the game I'm going to set up a room for my autocross event.

I just ran a few laps around GVR and GP-D, left the set up pretty close to how it came with the exception of a few personal tweaks. I was running high 107's and GVR and 36's at GP-D.
I think I am going to run the Pink car(cant believe its still available:), and I am pretty sure I have a teammate but I will confirm this tonight.

Anybody on right now?

If bdubclub already has a teammate in mind for the Pink one, I think your selection is limited to Silver and Dark Yellow.

Turbo did I just send you back the silver car you had sent me? I think my game didnt save last night, so I ended up sending you back the wrong car on accident. I couldve sworn the car's thumbnail was red before I sent it. oops


I'll join in a few minutes, gota get a new car from OCD and make a pit stop at 7-11 first
 
I didn't see my gift thing pop up before I created the room. Will have to check after we close it down. You can practice in the Red car for now if you want.

Hey RT, sorry I haven't gotten you the driver pic but I've been rather busy over the last few days. I checked and I wasn't able to directly save the driver photos from the set of 9 generated (at least not that I could figure out). My iPhone 4 takes great shots of the screen though so I was wondering if it's ok to send one of those to you?

When you select for the game to take the 9 pictures, after you choose which one you want it saves it in your photomode folder. Then you can export it like a regular picture. That's how I was able to do it.

A regular photo is OK though.

Ahh, I didn't realized it automatically saved it to your folder. Thanks, I'll get that sent to you soon. Is an imageshack link ok?
 
Yep that works. I'll PM everyone else in a bit and have them send me theirs.

Edit: Also, SAMHAIN, bdubclub and myself were the only ones in the practice room yesterday morning. We did a couple 4-lap practice races and they were quite exciting. Should be some good racing. :)
