I think it has potential, but that would require ongoing support and I'm not sure the playerbase will be there to keep it going.
Looks fine on the PS5 (more so on the Pro), pad handling seems ok or good depending on who you ask, from what I've seen the online racing is pretty good. Also has a decent damage model and crashes. The AI & single player seems to be an afterthought mess as expected. All in all it's what we thought it was.
@KAlex122 PS5 (and Xbox) is upscaled to 4K which a lot of people don't like. Some tracks are also looking worse than others. Don't think it's anymore "PS4" than GT7 from what I've seen but can't tell for sure as I haven't bought it.
EDIT - The mirrors definitely look bad. Really bad.
It isn't tagged as enhanced on PS5 Pro despite a Traxion article saying it would be native 4K on that.
A few problems for Xbox users. Wheels not working, devs waiting for a patch to be approved. Welcome to 2025 gaming
A day-one patch is awaiting approval, but Rennsport's online multiplayer is currently inaccessible for Xbox Deluxe Edition players in the meantime.

Does seem to be a DLC store for liveries, haven't seen if it has a seperate editor.
I like the penalty system. Like iRacing, you accrue incident points throughout the race for any contact (even if you're the one getting hit) or going offtrack. Time penalty at first threshold, DSQ if you reach the maximum.
Hope they fix all the issues as there is a possible ACC console replacement lurking underneath.
