Replacement for the Devil Z?

For fans of the manga/anime Wangan Midnight, You know that the ultra-fast Devil Z is a blue S130 with 600hp

I am looking to recreate the Devil Z, but in GT5, the S130 barely gets 260hp, and a non-draft top speed of about 260-275km/h.

Any most cars can reach the capabilities of the Devil Z, but you can't call a R8 that, as it doesnt remotely look close to a Z.

Here's a few criteria:
1. It must be a coupe and have the general shape of a Z
2. It must reach ~600hp
3. It must have a top sped of 321km/h+
4. Prefferably, it can be turbocharged

I also have a few candidates in mind:
TVR Tuscan Speed 6- [SPECS SOON]
Ferrari 599- [SPECS SOON]
Lamborghini Muria- [SPECS SOON]
ALfa Romeo Giulia TZ2- [SPECS SOON]
So what do you think is a good replacement?

A tvr of sorts could do (T350C, Cerbera Speed 6/ Speed 12), or maybe a Shelby Series One…that's all I can think of at the moment though…

Edit: A Non-ACR Dodge Viper could also count, and it could have over 900hp if I'm not mistaken…

....before I google it, what is this Wangan Midnight? Bare in mind, I just finished Initial D (and that wasn't for lack of desire, but more of opportunity).

Just the basics, don't spoil anything please.
 
An Alfa 8C can also work, but I'm not sure about the 600+hp mark though…And it's hard to summarise the Anime in a few words without giving it away…just watch it a few times, or you won't understand it, it won't take you long…be warned though, it's slightly spooky(-ish)

Spooky-ish anime that I assume involves cars. Hmmm, ok. It on Netflix?

Edit: A Corvette ZR1 or Z06/C5 can also do it, and I think an Aston Martin Vanquish can also qualify (just) as well as a Callaway C12, Mclaren SLR, SLS and millions of others (yes, I think I'm more of a Wangan Midnight/Car freak than you)

It's Initial D but on highways. Instead of an AE86 and a RX-7, it's an S30 Z and a 911 Turbo.

Useless trivia: The Wangan Midnight anime is animated by the same people who animated Initial D 4th Stage.

Going away from Nissan, I think the ZR-1 Corvette would be pretty good. The project code-name was originally 'blue devil' and a lot of people still call them that. (kind of like Terminator for 2003/2004 Mustang Cobra)
 
I dont know much about about Initial D or Wangan Midnight, but if im correct your referencing the 280ZX (S130) Z. If so, the next model up (Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX Z31 1983) actually goes up to 570-580ish BHP and its still a Z car, just good luck finging it in the UCD, but if you want i do have a spare one if you need it (still stock however) :)

That's probably the best idea. You don't want to stray away too far. I've already made mine.

But I wish you could tune the S30 to be as fast as Devil Z. I want to actually be able to pass Blackbird and not just set the cars up for a beauty shot.

I can try and make a list of possible cars. I did a similar thing the other day to help someone find the best four-door sedan. I'll start with cars other people have mentioned. It includes wether it's premium or standard, its power output and how you can acquire it.

I have the Fairlady 240ZG (HS30) '71 ...... Is that it??


If it isnt, the proper Devil Z is one of the rarest cars in the game for me!

I've been looking for the Fairlady 240 (Z31) ?!

Is there an actual Devil Z in the game? That'd be cool, but I never came across it.
The 240ZG is the closest I have seen. It just has glass covers over the headlights, which I hate.

Side note, the Z31 is a 300ZX, which was Akios original car.
 
There are no regular 240Z, 260Z, or 280Zs in the game. The only first generation Zs(S30) in the game have the G-Nose, which was a longer and more aerodynamic front end. The S130 second generation car is the 280ZX and has a different body style that PD mistakenly calls a 280Z. I have a matte black '72 240Z with the same body style as the Devil Z(minus the fender flares). I have seen the G-nose and think it looks better in real life than it does in the game. Hope this helps
 
I wish GT5 had a devil Z. Or any S30Z. All the ones in the game are ugly and slow! I want a beautiful Blue Z car!

Also to clarify some confusion I am seeing

The HS30Z is not the right model
The S130Z is not the right model

The S30Z is the earliest model and the one used in the the anime.

I don't think its even in GT5 though so the HS30Z and the S130Z are the closest things we have.

There are a lot of different variations of the Z with slight differences, even I am learning new things every day.

My 240 does have a G nose I think.. I thought that was what the G stands for in 240ZG (HS30) ?

Anyhoo I need to find the right paint.. Anyone know what it is? Or closest to?
 
Nismo 350z Z tune. Can be twin turboed and makes loads of power but I think it's more 500hp then 600hp. I might work on this tonight and see what I can come up with.

Had a play last night, and the Nismo 400R, despite not looking like a Z at all, can quite easily reach 600hp and with tuning, will clock 300kmh+ easily. Not sure if you can paint it though.

Tuscan Speed 6 (Premium) fully upgraded in any dealership blue will reach 330km/h, achieve ~570hp, and looks rather cool:

The 350z Ztune is over 600hp. If I remember correctly mine is around 612hp but unfortunately you can't paint it. Next fastest Z is the 380 Amuse but it tops out at around 540hp due to a an error by PD. the turbos hp doesnt show up when you buy it so the Superleggera is stuck at around 540hp. Still fast though.
 
Nice idea, but I really think the best way its to keep into the Z lineup.

A 350Z or 370Z... the amuse version works well too.
 
Watched the first episode yesterday on Youtube. How has this not been picked up for dubbing?!?!?! This, along with Initial D, has Adult Swim written all over it!!!!
