Our driver for Round 7 has a replay issue.

When he tries to review the replay in the Replay Theater, the last two seconds fade out and the time is not displayed. The file size is about 35k, and in the File manager lists the correct time.

I've asked him to run the replay as a ghost, then chase it to see the last two seconds, to verify a clean lap.

This is an odd anomaly...he doesn't have time to improve, and we'd like to know if this will be acceptable for verification.

I have to get back to work, but I'll check in when I get home this afternoon.

I guess he stopped just after he crossed the line and then saved the whole replay and not only the best lap and it resulted in what you have right now.

If that was the case then he would know that when he tried to load the ghost and no file would appear.

Haven't gotten a response yet. The driver is samoht, whom some of you may know...pretty straight up guy, former GTF Admin. Was using NTSC (J), but I believe he's back in the UK, so it's PAL now.

I posted in the GTX Team forum for him to try loading the ghost in a new session. I'm hoping he'll check this out this evening, or in the AM, UK time. He didn't seem to know about the difference between "full" session replay and "fastest lap" replay, so hopefully we'll get it sorted before deadline.

Deadline looms, and still no word from samoht. I noticed in the GTX thread, he mentioned he's out of town for the weekend and will post the replay on Monday.

Time submitted...I can only hope the replay will shed some light in this.

I'm pretty sure you can do this by exiting the replay before the finish line! .. and it will let you save the replay at the time it was exited ....
I have seen it before whilst hotlapping! .. I was not happy with the lap and exited early! only to find it was saveable at the exit point .... lets just hope he actually crossed the line and it is in fact an in game error 👍

pretty sure you can do it in licences also but I will need to boot the PS2 and check! .... after my hangover from hell subsides a bit :yuck:
