Replay videos and i´ve got another world record, the second today!!!!

Hello guys....as i posted before some times, i am posting now some new times i did these days....they are in the www.gt3times.com site and also in www.cyberscore.net. My nickname in both sites is VeilSidebr :D

I´ve got to record 3 replay videos, and i need to record the others. As soon as i got to record all of them, i will post the links here as i´ve got to find a server to store them. Ok, i just uploaded 2 videos until now, they are listed bellow for download :D

Lap Time: 1:00.631 seconds - Now this is the World Record :D

Track: Seatte Circuit

Lap Time: 1:04.148 seconds - hard to go further, but its possible

Track: Special Stage Route 11
Car used: F094/S
Lap Time: 1:20.405 seconds - And now, i finally got the World Record! :D

Track: Deep Forest Raceway
Car used: F094/S
Lap Time: 49.170 seconds

I need to try in more tracks...when i´ve got more times i will post here. Also you if u have any record(or world record) post here :D

THe world record was 1:20.647 at Special Stage Route 11, according to www.gt3times.com(i didn´t find a better time in the whole internet) and i´ve got 1:20.405! That was fast, stayed about 45 laps trying and trying to break my past 1:20.937 lap...but i´ve got it!!! I saw the replay about 6 times and there´s still room to improve it, i guess with the more insane i can go i can get into the 1:19 ´s house.

But it´s already ok...i will try to record this replay video into my pc as fast as possible and post here...hehehe :D :D :D :D :D :D
 
None of your previous videos work. At all.

Please try to get them working so that someone can verify them - be sure to include the replay loading screen on your video as well.

in my videos i put the screen where i select the replay file, and shows all the info about it

don´t know why it isn´t working with u...with all the people i know it works...maybe i can send it to u directly :D

at Special Stage Route 5 WET this time, i´ve got 1:00.631 seconds

the past world record was 1:00.705

well, aparently lycos identified your site as "under construction", even when I visited your main page.

Tried saving the url to the HD, cannot open
Tried playing it with Real Player, unable to establish connection with server.
Tried saving url from other broser and tried to open it, empty.
 
Right click and do a "save video as" "download file as"....they download just fine that way as 12-13MB mpeg files. (I'm on a Mac running OS 10.3.5 and using Safari 1.2.3 so if it works for me on a mac you windoze nerds have to get it to work)

Your SS5wet lap looks pretty good, but your Seatle lap is iffy, it looks like you have at least one slight wall touch, maybe as many as three (all very slight). Show the speed, gear, accel/brake on the replay screen and for someone to really verify these laps they need your analyzer data/GT3 replay (x-port to a .xps file)....videos prove little.

The SS5wet lap though really looks nice.

When you are on top alot of the fast GT3 guys will come hunting you to make sure your laps are real. I'm just warning you, I've seen it many many times. I hope you are playing fair here or you will never live it down on any GT forum.

Indeed. The only completely approved method of verification is for someone to view the replay itself, not just a video capture.

Since you're on a quest for world records, your credibilty will be better served by one of three methods...

1) Obtain an X-Port and submit the replay(s) to an accredited replay reviewer...there are plenty of respected drivers who will be happy to do this.

2) Obtain the newer Max Drive device to submit replays with...

3) Send your memory card to a reputable member for review.

What a reviewer will look for, especially in Hot Lap records, is any wall contact, or speed drop from a wall contact, and any incidents of more than 2 wheels off track. Also, you car can be inspected for any hybridizations.

This is not to say your runs are not credible. It's just that if you are going to claim world records, they need to be supported by more than just a video capture.

I was happy when I've got 51.559 at Red Rock Valley in GT2 and came on the 15-20th place. Don't remember. Great job 👍
 
Ok, I got the videos to work for myself, you have to copy the link and put it in your address bar, then wait for QuickTime to load the .mpg file. 👍

thanx guys..now i[ve got to record both world records i've made and also the seattle lap and deep forest lap...just finding a server to put in, if someone could tell me one or if someone could host them to me that would be great :D
 
Why don't you just remove the old replays you currntly have and replace them with your new ones.

Also, when you make videos, put the camera in the behind the car view and have the speed indicator on.
 
Then surely if you delete the old ones, and put the new ones in their place, as daan suggested, you wouldn't break the storage space limit as you're not adding anything...

As daan also suggested, to be accepted as anything near to verification you need:
  • Replay load screen, to show power of vehicle and lap time
  • Chase view, to show where the sides (and, with F1 cars, tyres) of the car are at all times, to detect contacts and "offs"
  • Tachometer/speedometer displayed at all times, to detect any impossible acceleration or cornering speeds.
 
Can anyone get the videos to work? I've tried everything and they dont seem to work.
 
Like No Quarter says, there is a very strict replay verification system that keeps Online Racing (OLR) competition very clean and trustworthy. Replays are watched from the outside following position to verify that there is no chance of contact and that at least 2 wheels stay on the paving at all times. Sometimes replays are even transferred to high-quality video so that slow motion analysis can confirm a clean lap.

The replay file itself is also opened up using a PC utility that can show any modifications to the car.

No one is mistrusting you personally, Rachaderua. This is just standard practice at this level of competition. I advise you to mail a copy of your memory card to No Quarter or someone he recommends so it can be verified. That will settle the question for everyone.

yeah i also guess that this process is the right way :D

but as i sad, at least he might see the videos and think if they are clear..hehe they are all clear and u can see all the graphs and good quality on image. If so he don´t get satisfied and cleared, so i can record another one. But if at least someone see the video and think if it is clear, that will be ok. I can record again, no problem, but it´s not that easy as i´ve not recorded them here at home but in my friend´s house, that´s why i sad to at least u guys see them and think if they are clear or not. :D
 
The problem is, nose cam view will not show what is happening at the side of the car and wheels. I've looked at replays in the past, from nose cam, that appeared clean, but when watched from rear view, or checked with the analyser, showed minor contacts or 3 wheel off excursions...

You've obviously put a great effort into making these these runs. Make a little more effort and rerecord these with rear view and telemtry on. Better yet, make arrangements to send the replays to some folks for review.

but i will leave these versions i´ve recorded for those who like the "sensation of speed" :D.

so i will record another behind the car version ones. AS soon as possible i will post them here ok.
