Replay with out the Replay banner?

Is it somehow possible to get the replay to show without the letter box that says Replay ? Also, it is not possible to skip between views with out invoking the menu below.
It would be easier to do nice race edits without this...

Granted, I can use the video recording in PS4 but that does not give me the option to switch between views.

As far as understand it there is no way to share replays outside GTS?

Nope.
Another one of Polyphonys annoying quirks.
Even worse if you turn the HUD off whilst playing then watch your replay the buttons completely disappear with no way to exit.
 
If you are planning on using the SHAREfactory in anyway, or any 3rd party program, can you not just pop a black box over the UI during editing? Not ideal but a possible solution?
 
@CurbHog use USB keyboard, normal numbers above qwerty and arrows up and down, or pressing L1 or 2 bottom on controller and dpad up/down for changing, if using only dpad arrows it pops menu.

On USB keyboard you can switch driver names on/off with F1, use "smooth" focus with G-button or "sharp" focus with H-button.
