I think it would be cool if they had a replay director.
It could work like Driver 3's replay mode combined with photomode in GT4.

Full control of the cameras and of the playback of the replay (Just like a replay from Winning Eleven) that would be great!!!

It would be good if we could record again the replays, but this time we're controlling the camera, and make some pretty nice videos (It would be some kind of director mode).

Rewind, fast forward. Maybe a jump to lap feature. Those I think should exist period.

Something to make our own cuts would be awesome I think though.

At the very least, bring back the single screan VS. replays. The split screen thing just ruined one of the best parts of the game. Also, hopefully with the PS3's abilities, they'll let us up load our favorite tunes as a soundtrack... that goes for regular racing as well.
