After working way too hard for last semester's exams, I managed to get an average of 68 %.

Everything put together from the whole 2003 - 2004 school year gives my a glorious 66 %

I haven't gotten my results back yet, but that's pretty much what I'm expecting too.

Yeah - it's not bad. I just had to collate all our Science SATS - we got 8 7s out of 180 kids (I created my own levelling table, and we got mostly 7.0s, with a couple of 7.2s and 7.3s).

I think we got more than 8. I beat 911_Carrera by 21 marks . But he beat me by 1 mark in maths and I think 5 marks in English. He had highest in year (within the school of course).

If you get a chance to do a degree, you'll find that the grade scale goes roughly like this:
30% = Pass
40% = Third class (Honours)
50% = 2 (ii) (Honours)
60% = 2 (i) (Honours)
70% = First class (Honours)

There is no, as far as I'm aware, "European grading scale" in education.

The "European" percentage thing actually makes the most sense in my mind. You simply need to get 50% in order to pass a class. In theory that would mean that you know 50% of the material which you see in class, but in reality the grading isn't that fair and it probably comes down to having around 2/3s of the answers correct.

My year average was 66 % this year. Normally I get the class average, which is around 61 - 63 %, so I'm pretty happy with the grade I got.

50% = pass
60% = normal
70% = honours
80% = even more honour
90% = max honours

I'm moving to Europe. Right now.

No - to pass a DEGREE in an English University. Do you have any idea how hard it is, and how few people manage it, to get 70% on a complete degree course? We had 1 in our year. ONE.

Stay in the US - Bachelor's level degrees are reportedly easier to pass, with Ph.D. courses often having taught lectures for the first year or so (our Ph.D. courses have no taught component).

B- theology (study of god )

c chemistry

pretty damn good considering my chem teacher was a complete idiot

The school throw me in too high classes. I was in Algrebra 2, biology, English 2, and the only class I passed with a C was learning stratigies.

English A- (You can't fail this class, but getting a plain A is as hard as hell)
Geometry B+ (I just got lucky...I really should have a C+, but I have a cool
teacher. He gives a lot of partial credit on tests )

Theology A- (for my 4th quarter grade, I got a C+, but I definitely had an A.
Hopefully my grade gets changed so I can get a 3.9 GPA)
