Just over 73% odd now. Completed all the main story missions again yesterday (as my game save corrupted and I have to do all the LV and LS missions again) and now I have 32 turf's.

*Sung to the Pokemon catchphrase* "Los Santos turf...gotta get them all!"

lol, more and more of you guys are heading towards the magic 100%.

Trucking
Anyone got any advice on the last trucking mission? I've tried it a few times now and I just can't survive to the destination in Las Venturas on 4 stars. I can barely make it half way there before my truck is lost from damage from being rammed by cop cars and rangers or I lose my trailer to police rangers ramming it off me and it dissappears off into a field where there's no hope of getting it reattached and back on the road within 60 seconds.

i just drove fast as i could, on the right side of the road. made sure i knew the course and just went for it. if you going fast enough police ranchers arnt too muchtrouble, only when your going slow or turning.

Nice times for heliraces 👍

92% in about 88 hours now-- still working on some odds and ends--

still debating whether I'm going to keep searching for tags/horseshoes/oysters/snapshots or use a map/guide.... whats the most some of you guys have without using outside sources for these.

I'm at about:
-- 35 tags
-- 19 horseshoes
-- 11 snapshots
-- 4 oysters (haven't looked real hard for these---at all)

--24 unique jumps (although I haven't found one for a while)

My original goal was 75% of each but I'm not sure I've got the patience....

lol, i got about 8 tags, no snapshots, 2 horseshoes and 1 oyster before i used guide, then agian i didnt bother looking for them as i knew i wsa gonna use guide anyway.

I'm not bothering, but I have seen about half of the Tags so far, without looking for them. I'm pretty confident with some hard work I can get all of the tags. I've seen some Horseshoes around. I found one Horseshoe inside a Train Tunnel, which some people might not have seen there.

I've been searching for unique jumps lately. As of now I have 33. I think I'm going to get a quide for them because I feel that I must do them.

rockstar not making the jumps a requirement for 100% reminds me of how all gold licences weren't required for 100% in GT3... 100% should mean you beat/collected everything.... blah

I agree. I don't think 100% is very well done in San Andreas. They've let me down in a way, even though I haven't done it. It seems a lot easier, and it doesn't seem as complete. Vice City had the best 100% list.

oh well,

ive now maxed my money out and got to lvl 400 on vigilante.

Now im unsure what to do.

Go outside

Did you get all the jumps yet--- I know its not a requirement for 100% but its something to do.

Also, you can:

Work on your race times.
Work on stunt stats

Look for easter eggs (there has gotta be a bunch of them)--maybe start a thread on them-- list them in the first post and have others submit them too maybe??

Start a new game--- fastest time to complete story and fastest to 100% might be added to the recordbook at some point (if not already)

And there is always working on your killing stat-- I'm too busy getting 100% to work on this but hopefully very soon.

I found about:
40 tags (I did a bit of searching for them)
5 horseshoes (I found these by accident, I haven't looked at all for them)
No snapshots
2 oysters (I found them by accident)
33 unique jumps

Because the unique jumps aren't needed for 100%, I won't use a guide for them, I'll just pick them up as the weeks go by. I couldn't be bothered looking for the hidden packages stuff, I'm gonna end up using a guide for them in the end, so I'm just going to go through them all from a map or guide.

KM.

Yeah i had to use a guide for the hidden aspects, I dont see how you could get them all otherwise, random finds would take too long and probably never happen.
Ive got all Horseshoes
about half the tags
all oysters
and about 20 jumps(should really get onto them)
and about 2 photo ops.(a pointless addition to thew game i think)

Well my times are fast enough atm, theres only about 7 out of 33 that i havnt won. I might do some more killing, and im not sure how many unique stunt jumps i have???.

Anyone got some tips for killing, as some of youd prolly know in VC i wasnt a killer i had about 16,000 people wasted. so im not a expert on how to do it efficently. Vigilante is about 1100 kills per hour, plus 300cars blown up per hour. What other options are there.

It's hard to say yet. I'm sure lots of us will be experimenting with different methods after we get 100%. The good thing about Vice City was that you had infinite ammo at 100% so you could go nuts without having to get more guns and ammo. Plus you've got that stupid eating thing in San Andreas that would break up a long rampage, especially one that is based on staying in the same position while you slaughter people.

KM.

well you Do have unlimited ammo in SA, but the eating thing does give me the ****s sometimes as you have to allow for it when you do vigilante and others, it took me about 210 lvls before i was able to figure out good method for vigilante. Well isnt the normal to get 5 stars and shoot fbi cars. im sure the strategy guide says you cant get more than 5 stars in SF, so maybe Somewhere in SF would be a good idea. and when you need to eat you can return to where th SF races are and get one of the many cars inside the building and quickly get inot the paynspray 5 m away.

I've had 6 stars in SF--- thats where I came extremely close to jacking a tank-- in fact, I don't think I've had 6 stars anywhere else.

I haven't turned my attention to finding a good killing spot yet-- but I'm sure there is one out there--- and if I can go an hour at a time of uninterupted killing (not having to eat), I'll be happy-- it seems I can go that long now.

Anyway, I finished trucking and golded the driving school (all done with schools)-- I tried the 2nd triathalon twice today-- I almost won the first try-- I go smoked on the run the second try.

Still have a triathalon, Robois (if the bike ever spawns), zero's missions, tags/photos/oysters/horseshoes--- I think thats it but I'm sure I'll be at least checking a 100% tic sheet here pretty soon. I haven't found anything else to do just by playing....

Triathalon doesnt count towards 100%, i havnt done any triathalons yet

thanks (I will probably put this off then)---- does anyone know if you get a different time for the 2nd one-- I noticed its called the same "Beat the CLock (-L)" --- I might still do it if you do, but it seems longer so I doubt I'll beat the time of the first one.

hm thats interesting, a few ppl here have done both so they would be able to check that for you

For a killing spot, find something near a Hotdog Vendor. That would be a great way if you have a sudden interruption. And then stock up a lot.

If there's anywhere on The Strip in Las Venturas with a food place, that would be the key.

Speaking of food, there's an Alex's Hot Dogz Van at "Regular Tom" near The Big Ear. Go check it out, too. Regular Tom is a little crater that has a Water Fountain spout out every once in a while, and some tourists crowd around it taking photos. It's a really cool thing to see them taking the pictures, and to see the actual crater.

Does this represent anything in real?

yeah that would be ok, but im sure killin in the hunter would be better, and you just cant hop out and eat then hop back in the hunter with more than 1 star as it takes so long to take off you d get busted, or the hunter would blow up from gunfire

Yeah, it seems the Hunter is the best way for the moment. Although, I'm sure Spuds will find a way, knowing him. ;)

yeah most likely, btw if you blow up a car and it has 2 people in it (like cars do) do you get those 2 kills?

I think the spouting fountain represents the geyser Old Faithful (or possibly another geyser) in Yellowstone National Park. (which is about 50 minutes from my home). It erupts about every 30-50 minutes. In real life it shoots up to 80 feet though. And tourists are all around taking pictures.

Took over all of the territories last night and then started missions again...

The OG Loc mission is quite good fun but pointless...

Los Desparados however is a quality fun mission... I like the tag above the door... had to stop killing to spray that one!!

Got to the last mission last night but didn't get out of the burning building before it blew up... was at the top of the last set of stairs!!!

Gone off to San Fierro to do FireFighter now though... Had it upto level 12 and the last guy from one of the cars ran into an alleyway... so I went to chase after him and he ran back and got mashed by the damn firetruck!! **** 4RSE AND FECK!! Gotta retry!!

I find that FireFighter starts off really hard when you only get a minute for each car and it's occupants... until you get upto two cars... then the time sky rockets and you get about 8 minutes each level!!
