Hi, new poster here.

I was just wondering what the requirements were for posting lap times in the leaderboards. Do I need some type of proof, like the replay?, or would a picture of the lap time be good enough?

Welcome to the GTP.

If your time is queried, you will need to provide a replay, via Xport or Max drive. A screen shot may indicate the proper time, but a replay will be required to verify a clean lap.

I just broke the posted fast time for Deep Forest in a Minolta by almost a second. How would I go about posting a replay?? I am not connected to my PC but could take a pic of my TV screen with my Fugi Digital camera. What do you mean by "Clean Lap" ? And also will I need to by a USB memory Stick to post proof. I have only had my new Slim Model PS2 for two weeks and not sure what all the USB ports were designed for. Thanks for any info on my questions !!!!!!

^To get a replay on your PC you need an X-Port, Sharkport, Max Drive, or AR Max Drive. A clean lap is a lap where you stay on the track and don't hit anything. You can't touch the wall, another car, or the grass. Rumble Strips are part of the track, so you can drive on them.

Technically you can touch the grass, but no more than 2 tires at any moment may be off track. Rumbles are counted as part of the track.

I may have hit a few things .. haha I will have to check. Thanks for the info on the memory stick or whatever they call them. About the only thing around here is a Walmart and not sure they carry anything like that although they should cause I bought the PS2 and game there. Will shop around and get one soon .. Thanks

Ok ... looks like WalMart has GameShark and AR Max Drive but not SharkPort. What would you recommed, the GameShark or AR Max Drive. Or should I wait and buy something else, like Max Drive or SharkPort ??? Thanks for any feedback !!!!

The Ar Max Drive is the only piece that will work.

The gameshark does not work for transfering replays to your computer.

Please review your replay on the PS and check for bumps, hits, or off tracks sections, if you consider it clean, pick up the AR max and upload it.

We'll take it from there.

The Max Drive is available at Best Buy, at least at all the one's I've been to.👍
