Resetting to get car you want?

How exactly do you do this? I tried it with a lvl 24 ticket and quit game before I said get in car yes/no, but whn I started it up, I still had the car I didn't want. Is there some sort of feature they implemented to prevented hard resetting to get car you want now?
 
You have to save your game to a USB. Then load the game normally, hatch the ticket, and if it gives you a car you don't like, quit the game, and restore your saved game from the USB. I've done this repeatedly with the Ticket 1000.
 
To clarify the steps:

1. Recieve ticket
2. Copy savedata from the game to USB
3. Use ticket
4. Don't like the car? Go back to USB and overwite the PS3's savedata
5. Use ticket.
6. Repeat 4-5 until you get the car you want.
7. ??????
8. Profit.
