Respect Bonus , RED dot problem , Help!

hello , i've done an online rally X event.
i was pushed around like a football.
after the event my dot had gone from green (+respect bonus ) to red ( - respect bonus)
so people , how can I get the dot back to green again?
thanks because i feel dirty driving with a red dot:)
 
I don't mean to sound like a dictator, but for future sake, please ask any questions in the QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS thread. I even went to the trouble of asking it to be stickied so you can't miss it being at at the very top.
 
Easy fix, host a rally jam session with impact ratings on, don't crash for a few stages (or crash into people) and it will bring itself back up steadily. You want a white hexagon for a 20% bonus.

It comes from having scrappy races. These are common in rallycross and Landrush events because contact is possible. The best way to fix it is to go into the Pro Tour and select point-to-point events. You will only do rally, Trailblazer and Head to Head, which are all done with ghost cars. So someone cannot throw a spanner in the works and undo all your hard work. At the same time, the onus is on you; any mistakes will be your fault and yours alone. You can't just coast through the stages, either - you need to drive quickly and cleanly.
 
I don't believe on the Ps3 at least that impact rating is on when it's a ghost event (on Pro Tour) unfortunately, which is why I suggested Jam Session hosting as you can dictate whether or not it's on regardless of other settings.
 
Interesting, I think it's off as mine never rose despite not crashing into anything most races then as soon as I went into Jam it rose within a few races (it never dropped in PT rally/trailblazer either). It only dipped straight to yellow in a hardcore RX whilst I was going for the trophy, and plenty of drivers decided my car was a target.
