Restart from scratch? Literally... (gt5 completion)

Hha has anybody else done this? Seeing that it's been 8 months and im only level 34 (have NOT done any glitches) i decided to completely format my ps3... (all i had was gt5 and kz3) after a successfull back-up to an external, i clean sweeped the ps3 and skipped the update patch for gt5... And ran into gt5 with what only the disc offered, just to see how much was missing/added within the time of it's release... All I can say is wow...

Its still pretty good but theres absolutely nothing... No engine/ transmission adjustments, ai is a lot more aggressive, cars handle differently IMO the online/offline physocs thread, im level 19 now just by running off of the special events and licenses... The home screen looks so empty, no seasonal events no ocd, you cant take the hud off, damage is terrible, the tracks look different... Not crappy, but not sharp or anything, no internal damage, gas runs out quite quickly... Man i wiah everybody would do this just so they can stop taking PD's updates for grantes and be glad with what they got... Cause they have been working hard...
 
Thank you Bullet. I borrowed a freinds PS3. He doesn't have the internet. I nearly died when I saw it. I got so used to what I have.

That's the spirit. Thanks for the input, though. This thread surprised ME, even. There are some things I take for granted, like physically being on top of an iPod. jk

But, good post. It really sheds some light on how incomplete GT5 really is.

Yeah I did start from scratch,when I first got the game I wasn't that impressed but I took a hiatus if you will and now I'm throwing myself at it with great gusto and enjoyment .:)

haha ya thanks for the laugh... Thank PD for not giving up on gt5... Although it makes me wonder not only how much
More they have to add before moving on to gt6 but i couldnt help but notice with EVERY gt that they have released, they AWLAYS upped the standard for a new sense of gameplay... Hell i thought the accomplishment of online was enough.. Let alone the weather and time transition tey also offered, what in the world is pd planning for gt6? They always have and seems always will have a sense of accomplishment of fully satisfying their true gt customers that take the series seriously...
